And a thread on The Rare Witch Project with a helpful outline:

It's completely obvious they wouldn't be throwing a fit if it weren't for Luckey's long term support of Trump. These people are uniformly in favor of arming Ukraine indefinitely, and then pretend to care about how those weapons are developed and made.

The Chromatic btw is one of the nicest things I own but you'd have to really love the Game Boy Color to understand.
These people are completely insufferable and sucks that they slithered their ways into ever part of our hobby.

What's the best way to play the C&C games? Specifically I want to reply Red Alert 2, and Zero Hour. Maybe try Red Alert 3 as I never got to play that (I do have the steam version of RA3).

I've had a small linux or xp retro gaming PC on to-do list for a long time. But real life keeps getting in the way. If those are the best option I can wait as I think I have the CD/DVD versions up to Zero Hour. But have nothing after that.
PCGamingWiki is your friend. There's lot of valuable information about getting old games to run on new systems. You can also try reading the comments at myabandonware.com, even for games that aren't hosted by them (they have GOG/Steam store links instead of direct download links).

LGR play eXoWin9x Vol. 1

Basically a collection of retro games pre-configured with emulators. It reminds me of those "images" that people release that are just a random collection of roms and emulators. The collection seems poorly put together imo. As the video shows, a lot of games either don't work properly or run to fast. Kind of neat for archival purposes I suppose.

I took a quick glance at the list and it doesn't look interesting. Elroy Hits The Pavement? What? I've been playing and reading about PC games for three decades and I don't know half of those...

I believe this, as well as eXoDOS, is an attempt to collate all or almost all DOS and early windows games. Makes sense there would be a lot of shovelware and trash in the collection.

If you got a full PS1 ISO set you'd be wading through a lot of shit too.

After years of saying that I'd rather die than part with it, the time has come to sell off the high end items in my Saturn collection. Pour one out for a nigga (:_(

Triply so if it’s a European set, as a lot of late-generation shovelware that SCEE allowed to be licensed was unfathomably low-quality.

Niche Gamer: PS5 jailbreak rumor makes Star Wars Racer Revenge price explode (archive)
Physical copies of Star Wars Racer Revenge are being resold for insane prices after rumors of a new PS5 jailbreak method have gone viral.

The new PS5 jailbreak method reportedly requires a physical copy of a PS4 re-release of the 2002 game, which is now selling for hundreds over its original retail price of $14.99, which Limited Run Games originally sold.

The rumored exploit requires a physical copy of the PS4 release and will use the game’s code to jailbreak the console, and reportedly cannot be patched out as it uses a physical copy of the game. This naturally opens the door for the illegal use of pirated games on the console.

Never heard of it, of course, the title alone was enuff.

It’s a site where one of the main writers has mega AIDS (AI derangement syndrome) and loses his shit whenever anything AI-related goes viral such as - I kid you not - someone on Xitter asking Grok to generate a picture of a 90s Lord of the Rings platformer. I made a few posts about it in the old AI art seething general if you care to look.

I don't actually know, but I bet it will be NBA Jam: Tournament Edition for arcade/MAME, just because it's the last arcade version and the console ones are liable to be cut down.
I was looking at hangtime on the ps1 that's a sequel to it with a few more bells and whistles. just wanna see what the fuss was with the series

Oh, well...

the whole "series" is NBA Jam, NBA Jam: TE, and some PS3(?)-era reboot I know nothing about. afaik TE is a straight upgrade of the original. The SNES/Genesis ports are perfectly fine, but arcade is gonna look/sound a bit better. Don't forget to google how to get the secret characters.

Those are still too funny. Imagine paying hundreds of shekels for a 24-year old game. What old games are the most expensive? I know that Rule of Rose used to sell for a LOT. That's all I know, though.
Panzer Dragoon Saga goes for a pretty penny. Looking it up on ebay now, this old pic I have saved still seems to be true. Cheapest listings without the original case are still like $500.

Also, I think Neo Geo games in general go for stupid amounts.

I want to download an NBA jam rom what's the best game/version in the series with the most amount of content?

I'd say one of the mame/arcade version. But you'd probably need to config your button layout so you can hold run while pressing shoot and pass. The SNES version is good and easy to jump into but is a big step down in audio and graphics.

I hear the Saturn version is pretty good in terms of audio and graphics. Never played it though.
