Anyone know the best way to emulate on an iPhone? I got my very first one today and I definitely want to be playing old Nes and Game Boy in public

I got an NES classic and adding every NES game ever made on it. The only bad part is the NES game emulation isn't as good as the SNES game emulation.

PSP 3000, memory cards should be cheap. Ebay might be the best place to find hacked PSP, I got a softmodded PS2 off Ebay with a HD. You could try PSP Go, but the memory cards are quite rare.

Really? I could never afford the stupid things when the PSP was around. But then again I only looked at retail not online. I only have a 1 gig and when I got it used it had a ton of horrible rap music on it.

I haven't used my PSP in ages. The battery is probably borked.

If I could find one for a bargain I might get an NES classic when I go to the United States, even though the only use I could possibly have for one is after hours at work and we have Contra tournaments or something.

I have a DS emulator on my phone, Only played Pokemon and Chrono Trigger it so far. I'm not that great with touch controls, I have big fingers. On my computer I have a few emulators but I haven't touched them in awhile. Believe the last thing I played was Mega Man X using Snes9x.

Time to pick this thread back up and wipe away the dust.

Anyone here know how to use the pressurized buttons for a PS2 controller on the PCSX2?

I'm having a bit of trouble on not killing the soldiers in MGS3 when I hold them hostage.

I’m thinking about setting up an emulation station, but I only have access to cartridge games as I am not a member of a private tracker that will allow me to get PSX, Dreamcast, etc easily. I just have cartridge stuff (and maybe arcade, I’ll have to check my seed box) so I’m wondering if it’s worth it to buy a premade emulation station at a premium with all the physical mods tagged on or if I should just hit up amazon and get the bits and just deal with what I’ve got in terms of games.

Advice? If I should shell out the scratch for a modded up emulation station, what are some good sellers?

So, I haven't seen any activity involving emulators (Project64, Magnafen, PCSX2) as of lately, anyone here doing any emulating?

I've recently gotten a PS2 adapter to use for my PCSX2 to play some Metal Gear Solid 3 but it turns out that the emulator has trouble with the pressure sensitivity, which became waste of money on my part. I decided to just use my X1 controller because of just how fluid and nice the controller really feels.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but have you ever considered giving MetalJesusRocks a PM on advice on that? I mean, it wasn't that long ago that he showed off his MAME cabinet so, I'm sure the guy can give you a lead on who to talk to.

I think the official controller is good, but not great. I've fucked up a couple times because the game thought I was pushing right/left instead of down, and it's frustrating, the original controllers had a little more resistance on the D-pad.

Are you sure your controller is compatible? Not all PS2 controllers had pressure-sensitive buttons. As long as you're sure it's legit then it's just dexterity and practice, very few games made use of it.

Yeah, my controller is a third party controller, not an official dualshock.

I'm in the middle of setting up my pc and I want to get some older games for it, but I am ignorant of where to get emulators, roms, and how to make them work properly. I couldn't find a thread on it, so I figured I'd post this, and anyone who is stupid like me can read what you guys pitch into it. Every time I search I get sites that say they shut down, or received cease and desists, etc.

I'm looking for emulators and roms for the classic gen 2 systems, but anything contributed would be awesome. Things like playstation 2, gamecube, original xbox, and whatever other game emulators and roms you know of. The way triple AAA games are right now I'd rather not play new games, and I'm having some nostalgia pangs.

You're either a boomer or a zoomer. In any case, use qbittorrent
I haven't. A torrent is a multi computer download system right? I wouldn't know how to go about it.
Yeah, it's literally the easiest thing to do once you have the program to do it.
Just make sure you use a VPN and have virus protection.
Or just don't be stupid.

https://pcsx2.net PS2 (this one can be annoying to set up. You need to download a BIOS file from a torrent to make it work.)

https://www.emuparadise.me/ I use this to get roms. https://coolrom.com.au/ still works. Just be sure to click the super tiny "alternative download" link.

Edit: I have the rar for the BIOS file if you can't find it.

You beautiful bastards. i got the first emulator working and fired up Pokemon Colloseum. Been looking for this game forever. I owe you each a blowjob. every time you go to a different town just dm me and if that's where I live you're getting some head.
