I am not shocked that lizstar is a name there. You may recognize them as one of the tranny speedrunners from the GDQ sector. The one who believes they're a goblin.
They happen to be a Developer for the site that creates achievement sets. and also one of the streamers that does RA content.

Agreed; from what I've seen with some of LordBBH's streams, for example, there seem to be a fair amount of achievements that exist because the people who created them never actually bothered to really familiarize themselves with the game mechanics--they just added what they thought seemed "hard yet doable".

Well, not really. They wildly vary. Shitty baby achievements worth a bunch of points and ball busting torture sessions worth 5 points. It's the problem with having anyone be allowed to submit sets. There's no consistency or standards to them whatsoever.

Lizstar is a vtuber who chases trends for views. She joined RA to create a unique niche for herself. She's known to change arguments and positions from post to post in an attempt to remain on the winning side.

Call her on her bullshit when you see it.

played about an hour and a half of clover and I do gotta say I'm loving it. Designs are really cute and it's got a good amount of challenge as well as great 'mon variety early on. Music is also banging

They reset the "set request" counter on the hash. It's still up. Currently has around 50 requests. Be funny to see it gain back those requests, and shoot to #2 again.

I saw a thread pop up last night a user made about quitting RA. The few replies it got were snarky/mocking comments. He then edited his original post to say one of the users making the comment had sexually harassed him in the past. He was immediately muted for that, and the thread disappeared. Sorry, I didn't do my due diligence and screenshot it. I didn't expect it to vanish so quickly. That really irked me though. Seeing some longtime RA user quit because of drama, and be mocked for it, then the thread vanishes like it never happened. 😞

Set requests have been purged once more. It reached over 60 before being reset. The staff really do not like that a chunk of users thought this entire thing was beyond retarded.

Keep requesting it. Check every day and readd it if they purge. Force them to either give up or ban established users. They'll be showing their ass either way.
 
Custer's Revenge just got no hashed. It makes me wonder why 177 specifically of the three games so far to get banned for being offensive why that one in particular is keeping a page. It could be the bluesky people only bitched about Clover and Custer while 177 was mainly a sticking point from people on RA who found that game disgusting for a long time. Maybe they intend to bring the rape porn game back in the future? You never know, there have been some games that have gotten sets after being Zed out in the past like Pokemon Blue most recently.

I expect 177 to be the one game that never makes it out of the -Z- hub, due to Scott personally requesting that it be scrubbed from the site. Clover has had significant pushback and some are arguing for Custer's on the ground of historical significance and it being a retail game.

As a long time power user of the site, I'm so fucking pissed at this. They've did this once before when the community was much, much smaller. They nuked a set for Street Fucker, completely wiping it from their database. That was before I got really involved in the site so it didn't matter much to me at the time. Before the Pokemon Clover stuff, I half-assedly paid attention to the drama because it was usually stupid interpersonal shit but now this is directly affecting my experience on the site.

Since they're curating games, this one should go too right? It should go both ways, right?

Honestly, just look at the mature theme hub on the website. All of these should be culled if we're really doing this now. And if these all get culled, then why not any of the Grand Theft Auto games? Which, for some reason aren't in the mature hub. By the way, Wild Woody is in the mature hub because of an obscure easter egg but Chip-chan Kick isn't in it despite the title screen showing off little girl ass.

To be honest, I don't give a shit about hacks and homebrew stuff but it is absolutely unacceptable to remove retail games.

They used to have a page for a Pokemon Mini homebrew called Pokeporn. I'm pretty sure the story was some guy added it to their database and was actively "playing" it so it showed up on the front page of the site as a final 'fuck you' before getting banned. I could be wrong about that though. It was just a short loop of a blowjob scene from some porno, not pokemon porn if you're curious.

Honestly, this slipped under my nose until you pointed it out. I thought it was one of the heavily sanitized ports or later entries, but no. It's the MSX version of the very first one. That means it definitely has explicit shit from a quick glance.
You raise a 10-year old orphan into an adult and can do a number of questionable things. Changing her attire into a number of things is one example. So is the presence of this girl being nude in some scenes. Another is the various endings you can get, once she reaches adulthood.

So like these, for example. Notice the presence of rape featured in some of them.
You have to play suboptimally and even poorly to get said endings, so why is this relevant?
Because our Lizstar is also making a subset for it, where you are required to obtain every single ending. This is particularly egregious because Developer Compliance is required to sign off on every subset proposal on the website. Developer Compliance, or DevCom for short, is a governing body on the site that ensures Set Developers adhere to the Code of Conduct and guidelines for creating achievements.
What's even more egregious than that is the claim time, July 19th. A bunch of games for the MSX were claimed for achievement development in mid or late July. Typically, a rollout or a launch party will consist of a bunch of games being claimed at once for a certain system. Take the Wii launch and Dolphin onboarding support for the Wii, for example. A bulk of the current claims are related to the Wii. For the MSX, this is related to the Devjam now slated for sometime in October. The purpose of the event is to add a crapton of sets for undersupported systems and have people play them.

Yeah that's the one. They didn't screencap the edit or the other users mocking him. I wish I could remember the user he accused of sexual harassment. That person was on of the commenters, and kinda had a standoutish avatar like Lizstar. I'll try to find the account.
