conscripts aren't necessarily bad troops and massive formations still need to be filled up to deal with attrition. if there is any significant conflict it doesn't matter if you are a man, woman or what not the government will find a way to scrape the barrel and find some kind of role for you to fulfill if they require it. during dire times women are also sent to the front even if they fulfill less combat roles (and in dire times they will be pressed into frontline roles). This is not counting ideological motivation such as communist women in china whom would voluntarily pursue risky roles that lead to their death against the KMT or Japanese.
whether man or woman it is still a tragedy to die in such a meat grinder, just because you are not a mother or father it does not mean you have no worth in society, your death is still sad and erases so many little interactions in life. war leaves behind a damaged society that continues on for generations, the aftermath you witness in people's upbringings. i myself have a bad back, the kind where most countries would either send me to an office job or even prevent enlistment, even with surgery it just means i just get sent to some office job but i still wouldn't wish for conscription on others. i don't see any war atm that'd be just in a western country, the people in the military now are pretty much the equivalent of mercenaries for the ghouls that rule over us.
i hope more people especially the men (whom are directly impacted) wake up and actually do something about this instead of shitting on each other as usual, they're truly their own worst enemies and treat each other like trash where one person gets the cake and then leaves everyone else out to the wolves. rather than mobilize and fight for their lives for a life worth living many choose to accept "fate" and die in the meat grinder for something so pointless. it is disheartening to see such able bodied people go to waste in the dumbest of wars, society would benefit even if they were just sweeping the floors as their occupation. if you love your country, your friends, your family, yourself or even just want to live another day for the sake of it please get organized and help each other out, make friends with men, women, whatever tf and figure out ways to evade or whatnot at a minimum.
