Reuben G. Baron admits that his interview of PFC Jace Connors, USMC USN OBE was a "fuck up". Reuben G. Baron apparently has come to regret his sham interview of Connors, which led to much investigation into his qualifications as a journalist. Baron had hoped to convince Connors to make admissions against interest in order to support a legal claim that he expected a friend would file against Connors in connection with Connors' online publicity stunts.

Baron, who found Connors surprisingly resilient to his prodding and insistence that he had committed a crime, showed signs of severe frustration during the interview. Connors' understanding of American constitutional law and Internet content proved to be more than Baron had expected.

Baron was not available for comment when this story went to press. Connors was similarly unavailable, though Twitter posts indicate that he is involved in coordinating "Operation Wu-Pocalypse" from his sick bed. It is not known at this time if Connors is eligible for decoration stemming from the recent attempt on his life, which left his mother's personal car a total loss.

Well it seems inevitable.
Shall we discus cinema, such as the finer points of Book Girl?

edit:
and what our auteur/blogger/duchess of nerds has up his sleeve for Clockmen?

We could, though it should be with the acknowledgement that Reuben G. Baron has openly panned his own work, Book Girl as being a disastrous production. It is unclear where the money he got for that project went, but it seems like for the amount of money he received, he could have made something much more refined.

Don't forget the $5000 for his "Watchmen Mockumentary Musical". I think I caught the 'tism just from typing that.

Damn straight, most of the shit with film making is believe it or not free. Stuff like composition and editing is skill based you don't need final cut to edit. The only thing not free is time. I saw Christmas lights, but no lights. There is audio, but no mics. What the hell did he spend $1000 on? Could be the camera but it is more cost effective to shoot with a DSLR (you got options with lenses).

Only response to that not from Mr. Baron is "Fuck everybody who upvoted this."

Real mature Bradley.
Wow. Guy walks away from a troublesome situation that could impact his career. Everyone supports his decision, though presumably wishes it didn't have to be this way. Except that one fucker who says you should stand up against everyone who opposes you at any cost.

And what's going to happen? This guy is suddenly going to feel inspired to be the first man up the ladder over the rampart and into the castle. They may dump boiling oil to keep you out. They may drop rocks on you from above. And when you scale the wall, there will be pikes and spears. But keep fighting! Scale that wall no matter what it costs.

By the way, the people who say that shit will sit far behind the lines, waiting for the outcome of their machinations.

And we're the trolls.

Can I just point out that:
"Who watches the Clockmen?"
Lacks the alliteration of:
"Who Watches the Watchmen?"
My simple question is:
"Who gave Barron his Bucks?"
His indie gogo vid shows nothing of his concept except for bad audio.
And he wants to make a musical?

Why?

I think there's no actual musical and it's a mockumentary about the making of a "Watchmen Musical" or some shit. He just wrote it badly because autism.

Based on the url, I'm pretty sure I've run into this one before. He's one of the otherkin who thinks he's not as stupid as other otherkin.
