I've been very busy the last week. There is a treasure trove of Reuben content out there, more will be coming soon. For now, I leave you with this tasty tidbit:

He looks just as gross as Philip "ADF". I bet they smell similar too.

The accolades are still rolling in for our blossoming screenwriting prodigy.
An veteran IMDB user of seven years described Reuben's seminal masterpiece as "fun" and said that it "stays mostly on point". His gracious and insightful review indicated that the failings of the movie should not be blamed on the director, but rather his inability to run a film production. Interesting. Also, the reviewer describes Reuben's sense of humor as "nerdist", confirming that this feature is indeed made by autists and for autists.
Overall the hit-classic The Making of Superhero Musical has accumulated a whopping 8.8/10 rating on IMDB.

The film remains an elusive cult hit, apparently. While still not released to the general public, Reuben has been enthusiastically submitting his film to conventions and film festivals, according to his twitter and indiegogo accounts. Surley this is to reach his target audience of like minded peers and avoid the critical lens of those philistines known as the general public/dang dirty trolls.

If you're like me and are unable to make it, we will have to suffice for a few screenshots.

Unfortunately, I have have had no success in corresponding long enough with Reuben to get an exclusive interview on his creative process and mastery of the cinematic arts. On the bright side, we will not be left high and dry with an insatiable craving for insight into his creative genius. Bard College was nice enough to share Reuben's masturbatory self-reflection of the film-making process.

Finally, a bonus photo to pay tribute to Reuben while we all eagerly await the wide release of The Making of a Superhero Musical. G-god s-s-s-peed, Reuben.

Is that Neil Gaiman?
Did he manage to get Neil Gaiman in his movie?

Interesting read. His remarks on the previous production (I'm guessing Book Girl) blame the lead actress for the total failure of the project. Didn't we conclude that the young lady from that work was a girlfriend? I guess she wasn't "the one."
"Many of the intrinsic issues of the film seem not to be a construct of poor film making but of non-ideal situations."
Does any human being ever write like this, or is Bard secretly creating a new species of Homo hipsterus?

For another great example, check out Lost in La Mancha.
