Another ancestor of mine was a veteran of the Revolutionary War (he was actually present at Yorktown) and was among the first white settlers in what is now Wyoming County, West Virginia.

It's kind of neat knowing that I have roots in this country dating back nearly 300 years.

My ancestry can be traced back to Ireland, Germany, Wales, Northern Italy, and I even have some Native American ancestry (specifically Shawnee, according to the documentation I found).
