Reveal something totally unexpected about yourself - Shock and awe awaits - Don't powerlevel

For many years until my brothers (who are twins) hit puberty, despite the fact I was the only blonde kid in a family of brunettes at the time, the three of us each had a rough estimate of a half-inch height difference and were constantly mistaken for triplets because of it. We were quite popular with tourists for it, though--Mom still tells amusing stories about our encounters with Japanese tourists during our first trip to Disneyland.

I'm freakishly good with geography (like on the sporkle quiz for countries of the world, I can name at least 192-193 of the 197 countries)

I'm left-handed, but I learned to play the guitar the right handed way. It just made sense and there weren't any lefty guitars lying around at home anyway.

I'm genuinely surprised there aren't more lefty lolcows chimping out all the oppression and persecution they have to face. With all the clickbaity articles about how left-handed people are creative but have it hard, you'd think it'd be an easy way to look more quirky and cash in some oppression points.

I'm right-handed, and I learned to box southpaw. It was easier for a little while being able to lead with a strong hand, but once I got to a modest level I started getting my ass kicked very badly on a daily basis until I learned properly. I couldn't defend myself with only a weak left hand to keep my opponent off me. Come to think of it, a few of my failures to learn various things over the years arise from my desire to avoid the preliminary tedious stuff, jump into the fun stuff, and/or second-guess my instructors or teachers ... which explains a lot, really.

I did the same thing myself. I took guitar and mandolin lessons from a right-handed teacher, and just decided to learn how to play right-handed to make it easier for him. Same thing with when I got a bass for Christmas and started teaching myself how to play it.

Also, one more unexpected thing about me: I have been a contestant on a popular television game show.

Well, I guess one of my lifelong dreams is to just rent an old camper van (if I don't already have one by then), and have a few thousand dollars aside to go on a two-or-three week long cross-country road trip with my friends, using only the back roads and byways, as well as making lots of stops along the way to hike trails, maybe camp a night or two, stop at some landmarks and obvious tourist traps, eat at the nation's best diners, etc. I was thinking some place like New York City would be a nice midway point to crash at for a few days before turning around and spending the last few days making stops along the way home.

As a kid I misheard the line "I'm a woman's man" from the incredibly funky Bee Gees song Staying Alive as "I'm a walrus man". After getting to know the Beatles a couple years later, I had even rationalized it to myself thinking "Oh, I get it! It's a reference to I Am The Walrus, how smart!".

I also used to think The chorus of Eiffel 65's Blue was "I'm blue, I'm the sea, I'm the sky. I can see I could fly", instead of, you know, gibberish. I thought that was pretty lofty for a late '90s Techno song.

From time to time when I'm alone I talk to myself and sometimes randomly sperg out about whatever I might be reading about or thinking lately. Seemed kind of a dumb thing to ask anyone I know if they do the same so I'm not sure if this is common at all (maybe its actually just a whiff of :autism:)

I created 'Walruse'. An /s4s/ meme. I once just posted 'walruse' with this pic and a few months later I found out there was a encyclopedia dramatica article on it, a know your meme article on it and a 700+ userbase reddit subforum about walruse.

Biggest accomplishment of my life sadly

Many people talk to themselves when they're tinkering away on something or trying to solve a problem, that might be something something similar to what you like to do.
