I only watched the original Naruto because I agreed to "race" someone. I finished it in five days because I--actually we both cheated, as in we weren't fully watching it (in my case, I would leave a playlist running while I went to do other things). I have no regrets, Naruto just didn't deserve my full unbridled attention.

Got my HSK (Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì, or mainland China's language proficiency test for foreigners) results back and got certified at HSK4, which is intermediate/mid-level employment qualifying tier. I also got certified at JLPT level 2 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) a few years ago which means I technically fulfill a requirement for citizenship.

...I think I have language proficiency autism.

I got so many complaints about how bad my cursive handwriting was in school I actually got concerned when teachers no longer remarked on it on my report cards.

The answer I got was pretty funny though, they basically considered it's improvement a lost cause.

there's a saying i've heard; if you're having the same problems again and again, the common denominator is yourself. if everyone you end up with has the same negative qualities, then you're probably subconsciously looking for that. ask yourself what kind of traits you're looking for in people, what kind of traits you may have, and it's probably not going to be that totally unexpected.
