When I was a kid I was friends with a kid that I'm almost certain was a fledgling psychopath. He used to tell me stories about how him and his older brother would torture stray cats in various horrifying ways and he was raised by an insane survivalist family that routinely made him sleep in a huge ass bunker they built in the woods behind their house because they were convinced that nuclear war could happen at any second. He also had rotting teeth and he also wore 3 crucifixes every single day (his family were also a bunch of religious zealots that were convinced the world was filled with unholy creatures that would attack them for their faith). I haven't heard anything about him because he seemingly dropped off the face of the earth after 7th grade, but I'm still deeply concerned about the fact that I never realized how insanely fucked up he was when I was a kid.
