He's made one smart move in quitting pretense of leadership and just latching onto Nick Fuentes's charisma and following. "When it gets cold, you gotta stand near the fire." Nick has largely tolerated his attempts at grafting onto him, and even played along.

The idea that organizations like the EU or NATO would ever get taken over by white supremacists is so stupid it’s hard to put into words.

There is no one on Earth the people at the top of these type of organizations hate more than white nationalists. There’s a better chance of Putin taking control of NATO than someone like Richard Spencer.

The white racist is the number 1 enemy of the elite class. Someone like that will never be allowed near the levers of power again.
You know you’d think this serious “Apollonian Atlanticist” vanguard movement of elite vanguard Aryans would IDK get an article on rational wiki or a mention on the ADL’s website or something? Yet Brahmin and Spencer’s orbiters don’t even show themselves in public .

It makes me wonder if the entire thing is just taking the piss. Because to claim the European union(an institution committed to replacement migration and globohomo) will uh have an Aryan elite installed because um Russia is just so insanely stupid it’s genuinely hard for me to imagine Spencer sincerely believing it.

Like I just don’t get what Spencer is trying to do here. Taking him at his word WNism and general “right wing” politics is a dead end? A dead end for what? What does Spencer even believe? The entire thing feels wholly rotten to me.

I think him & Brahmin are more focused on attacking Christianity & "Abrahamism" more than actually taking power. I get the sense that he's extremely blackpilled on the state of the West & has subsequently given up any real attempts at trying to form a serious political movement (thankfully)

One look at his Apollonian followers on Twitter & you'll quickly see that there's absolutely zero chance these people will ever get near the levers of power. It's a meme.

The West has been Christian for 1500 years, and only really cucked out in the last 15. How do you look at that and determine that “Abrahamism” is the problem?

Given he still associates with Mark Brahmin and the whole "jews invented all of western culture to have sex with White women" meme religion, I think his public statements can be taken with a grain of salt.

I've read some recent Radix articles, and kept up with Spencer to know I think what he says when in the public sphere and what he says privately are two different things.

The Apollo stuff implies to me he believes that some sort of "elite" ideology that allows high caste Whites to seize power or something is..the way the White race wins? He hasn't made that clear, likely for ambiguity's sake.

What Spencer says in a private chat or a podcast with his cronies and what he says on Twitter are only somewhat related. But if you observe him closely enough, you can see he still "believes" in White Supremacy, just in a very esoteric way.
He thinks that the mind of every white person is poisoned by Abrahamism and they need a real Aryan religion to return to marble statue. Clearly a job for Dick Spencer and Mark Pseudonym. This is all supposedly going to be explained in the holy book that they've been announcing for about 2 years now.

There was this one historian who was really influential on the thinking of lot of the neo Nazis who said Rome fell because of Christianity Rome actually lasted another thousand years due to Christianity.
Also a lot of these people love Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens they just want them to be based racist white supremacist rationalist

no, this is retarded

Creepy anti-Christians have controlled white nationalism since Hitler pivoted to "Paganism" (he was privately an avowed atheist).
ironically, after WW1, Young Hitler had (a) savagely mocked the cowardice of the (then nascent) Pagan Revivalists, who Young Hitler wrote were craven cowards on the battlefield (sound familiar?) and (b) singled out the Bavarian Catholics as the bravest fighting men in WW1
as Hitler aged and got into the anti-Capitalist/atheist circles, the fedoras got ahold of his brain.
Like Communism/socialism, atheism/Darwinism is a mind virus which festers, and Hitler's infection was incurable
Only cost Germany, what, 10 million men and permanent control of their future?

The anti-Christians had chance after chance after chance, from Hitler to William Pierce to Richard Spencer.
In 2016, WN 2.0 had:
(Trump momentum + manosphere + GamerGaters + Conspiracy Theorists + "right wing hippies" (Tucker's new term) + budding "Trad" movement + More)
It was, by far, the most energetic right wing swing in modern U.S. history.
Most importantly, it was fucking cool.
Four years later, the WN 2.0 circle were accurately meme'd as old, chubby, and stale.

Take the L.

Curiously, there is one explicit White Ethnostate in the world. It is, by law, a Christian nation. It's called Orania. Obviously, Wignats hate it.

TLDR;
Most white nationalists hate (healthy) whites and couldn't build a nation (and don't really want one, anyway).

Who'd have thought that totalitarians wouldn't want religion they couldn't control to have any power since it's all based around the ego of its founder, with nation being a bullshit guise to trick people? Reminder Hitler and Mussolini also did play with Christianity when it suited them. Hitler pushed heavily for Positive Christianity, where he demanded that the church pushed his Nazi bullshit. Like to the point where Mein Kampf was on par with the bible in terms of theological lore.

Mussolini especially did this though, given he's the one who gave the Vatican back to the Pope, put his kids under communion, and played with trying to bind Catholicism to his movement.

Keep in mind that motherfucker also hated the church due to his mom forcing him to no matter what, while his father just didn't show.

Hell, even the anticlerical as hell soviets did this later on; Stalin set up a pliable metropolitan to gather more power.

Shit like this is why I think that lack of education on the Byzantine empire is almost criminal, especially considering how it's branch of Orthodox Christianity came to define Eastern European cultures, down to even something as fundamental as them using a Cyrillic alphabet system, and the fact that it got BTFO'd by muslims so hard, it led to the Catholic pope organizing crusades to the holy land.

Influence on medieval history by Christian vestiges of the Roman empire is nothing short of profound.

Does no one remember Byzantium? The Roman Empire absolutely outlasted paganism. It’s just that it was never seen as “western”. Even Voltaire spoke dismissively of it.

But Gibbon’s belief Christianity destroyed the empire seems…silly when the Byzantine’s were explicitly Christian and still considered themselves Roman until May 29 1453.

Byzantium has always been seen as basically alien and oriental in the west. At least until relatively recently. Partly due to the language barrier and also because it wasn’t the principate most Rome lovers focus on.

Voltaire dismissed it as a relic IIRC. And it was actually a big deal when the pope in 2005 spoke of it as part of western civilization.

I don’t recall Gibbon’s thoughts on it exactly but it wasn’t positive. Basically pretty much all classicists in the 18th to 20th centuries thought tended to overlook and ignore the Eastern empire.

Why? Partly I’d say for the language difference, the cultural differences and the fact that when people refer to tne Roman Empire(or at least right wingers do), they tend to mean a very specific period of either the republic or early empire that has all the cool aesthetics. Compared to the east that is much more obscure in popular consciousness and I think because it was Christian-didn’t have the same mystique in the minds of Gibbon and the like.

Ultimately it’s just unknown in the west and people in Western Europe and the anglo settler colonies never felt any particular kinship with a Greek speaking empire that followed orthodox Christianity.

Whereas the Roman Empire so clearly both influenced the history of Western Europe and its loss is also self evident.

Apollonians are literally atheists and materialists. They will tell you this if you ask. They see religion as either the cultural expression of a race’s identity and or a means of tribal mobilization and propaganda.

Or in academic terms, they take an instrumentalist approach to religion.
It’s all symbolic memes and bullshit but it’s basically the way you control the masses.

I do not expect this will motivate any Apollonians to die to enter Elysium.

Christianity isn't the mover, genes are - "Rome" "survived" because some of the gene constituting people survived to see themselves part of it and tell stories of themselves as such, and the tribal affiliations at the time were in the state to be primed to coalesce to maintain coherency the way they did; and like with the broadly western umbrella of christianity, the only qualities keeping it coherent and "good" for the people were the greater prevalence of pre-christian and unchristian influences despite christinity's inevitable pull being complete dissolution, total iconoclasm, and to unparticularise the particular, which it ultimately did
eastern christianity isn't a feature of christianity, it's a feature of slavs and greeks

I get the Christgangers want to adorn themselves with borrowed plumes, to tell stories about themselves as maintainer of pet prestige cultures instead of destroyers and corrupters, you do it with sciences and everything, but get real
Christianity isn't an incubator for European culture expression through periods of hardship, as the story goes, it's a social technology that marries you to the story of jews inextricably and works like a slow-acting cancer to snuff you out, not as part of conspiracy or design but simply as a matter of game theory
when a people's religiosity makes concessions to allow christianity to seep into their thinking, it creates space for the ingroup's fanatics to judaise, and then you die in time, end of

“It’s the genes” is a complete non sequitur. Firstly the eastern empire was largely Greek speaking, it was not as far as I recall, populated by Latins, secondly your argument simply avoids the question.

“Well Christianity leads toward ruin but well the blood and stuff”.

Do remember that Europeans colonized the world and believed or (had to pretend) to believe in Christianity up until the 20th century. The first and second world wars and decolonization were much more ruinous than White people finally learning the Bible preaches “turn the other cheek”.

Also, Christianity is not purely a European phenomenon lol. Assyrians and Copts and other groups that are clearly non Aryan embraced it. They ended up subjugated(or in some cases destroyed). But that wasn’t because they were Christian but because they were overwhelmed by Muslim majorities.

As for wedding your story to that of the Jews, the Roman’s wed their own story to that of the Trojan war a Greek myth that had next to no connection with the people’s of Italy, and you could find other examples of people’s beliefs being derived from or dependent on the myths of other cultures’ originally promulgated. Did the Holy Roman Empire fall because the Germanics tied their story to the latins of Italy?

You have to presume the Jews are ontologically somehow truly distinct from the rest of mankind that getting your religion or cultural myths(in part) from them is uniquely disastrous. Which I dunno, maybe you think the Jews are somehow different than every other nation and race.

Hypothetical for you, assume the Achaemenids won the Greco Persian wars, and over time the Greeks adopted Zoroastrianism and elements of Iranian culture. Modified to their own context.

No Alexander, no rome. Do you believe this affect would be the same?
