What could possibly be "post-modern" about reviewing a cheeseburger?

Koch brothers are socialist.

Ah yes, noted socialist comrades *reads notes* the Koch Brothers.

What could possibly be "post-modern" about reviewing a cheeseburger?

Post modern as a time period is basically everything after 1945

Post modern as a philosophy movement is basically skepticism towards a ton of shit. Like in science its skepticism that humanity could ever find a singular truth about anything, or our ability to comprehend the world, etc.

Post modernism in weirdo right-circles is just another word for progressive politics and perceived degeneracy

He's starting to sound like the right wing version of MovieBob.
It is a lot like Bob. A roundabout and clumsy way of saying something mundane. He’s essentially saying, I think, people like the Koch’s only view communities as platforms for consumers to be sold to, but couch this in libertarian rhetoric even as a lot of planning goes into it (which is usually contradictory).

So when people like Ayden Paladin blame SJWs on post-modernism they actually have no idea what they're talking about apart from "roll back the clock past 1945", if even that?

Yeah pretty much. Taking Youtubers too seriously is a mistake, especially when philosophy books exist to teach you this stuff. You may not agree with them, but you'll gain better insights into what the faggots that wrote them actually meant and devise stronger arguments against them after thinking for a bit.

Yes and not only that but they also accuse things prior to 1945 of being postmodern as well such as Marxism, Fascism I've even seen someone accuse Pre-revolutionary France as being Postmodern

People are morons who pretend to be smarter than they really are, what else is new? (((Richard))) is one of the clear examples of this, despite him hitting Sargon with that gem in their "debate".

I had no idea people were this stupid before. That might sound contrary to every experience we've had with any given lolcow thread, but even Phil Haskins is more researched than that.

Basically the way a lot of right-wingers face post-modernism is to list things that are post-modern in terms of philosophy, art, film and architecture try to connect some disjointed similarity between all of them and use that as a definition.

However this usually ends up with them just describing everything from Andy Warhol to Derrida as all under the same banner and end up just describing Progressive politics with a toe-dip into the Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory.

This is mostly because a lot of the alt-right view the entire academic structure as "degenerate" and "post-modern", and ironically seem to want to revert our understanding of the world to a pre-Aristotelian mode where the "enlightened" hand down The Truth from on high to the plebeian masses and cannot be questioned.

And it doesn't help that they little to no understanding of how things like peer-review and verifiable sources work, and use the veneer of "rationalism" as a totem to protect their self-perceived intelligence.
