It makes no sense to declare Ashli a saint after the fact, she probably is just as exceptional in decision-making as Lowtax, else she wouldn't have shacked up with him. Also she came across as kinda trashy too if you remember her postings and her frevor for pitbulls, the white-trash dog number 1. All of Lowtax exes weren't exactly first grade material. Doesn't matter, doesn't mean they deserve to be abused by Lowtax. Always remember though that such people end up together for a reason.
Lowtax used to be a bit more shrewd about the lying in general and goons were always gullible and liked to pretend SA is something special which it hasn't been for a long time. (Smartest place on the internet my ass) They were always willing to give strangers way too much benefit of the doubt to keep that pretense up, and that's how we got all these scamming sagas. The only mistake Lowtax can pretty much do to lose his goon-sponsered tugboat is to screw with the inertia the payments have, and he's very good at doing this which makes this all very funny. His downfall here is like so often his own ego because deep inside he can't stand the thought that he's absolutely nothing special and has no special talents and just lucked into the cash by being in the right place at the right time like most web 1.0 superstars. If you’ll go back in this thread to when Lowtax broadcast his marriage meltdown on FB you’ll find people shitting all over Ashlii as much or not more than Lowtax. Nobody thinks Ashlii is a saint and she definitely made some terrible decisions.
As more information came out -Lowtax bragging about her not having a DL and being illegal, making threats about taking her daughter and deporting her, Lowtax spending 3 weeks in UT banging another chick, etc... it became clear that while Ashlii made some stupid decisions, her husband was a raging asshole who had all the power in the relationship and used it to abuse and isolate her.
She’s sitting in a shelter with her child with no money, unable to work, and immigration issues. Lowtax is chilling in his McMansion, eating pills, pies, threatening Leafwife online and flaunting and fucking his “business partner”
It’s pretty easy to see why KF is happy to throw some money at Ashlii. It’s not because she is a saint, but because her husband is an emotionally abusive asshole and using his money, online platform and resources to bully his wife who doesn’t have money, online platform, resources or even stable housing while caring for a toddler.
What’s amazing is woke goons, or anyone outside of raging MGTOW incels, supporting Lowtax given the circumstances

We have a few people working their way towards full M'lady, but generally there's no trolls remorse or whatever going on. Ashlii is a fucking idiot, and she's likely to continue to make fucking idiotic decisions in the future (see: buying $80 starbucks gift cards*). But currently she's not acting like a fucking idiot, because she's allowing herself to be tardwrangled by shelter staff and her lawyer. She's also managed to at least not present herself like a total flaming cunt when interacting with people, even when getting dogpiled by goons.
The fact MapleWife got herself into this mess through repeated dumb decisions isn't lost, but its something that maybe factors into people's thoughts less when you see Lowtax doing everything he can to bring her down, and there's no reason to help him.
Lowtax spite is a large factor, but its more of a secondary factor; "Lowtax has a lot of enmity on KF. He has that because he's an asshole. When his soon-ex says he was a controlling douche, those previous interactions lend credence to believing her."

Donating or otherwise supporting Ashlii isn't saying she's smart or completely innocent in this. Its just saying she's clearly being attacked by a bully - and had likely been bullied by them for years. It in no way says Ashlii is smart, had made good life decisions up to this point besides taking herself and her kid to a DV shelter, or will make good life decisions in the future. But roasting her dumb canuck ass** can wait until she's not longer being attacked publicly by her asshole pill-head soon-to-be-ex.
Ashlii having at least primary custody is also clearly the least-bad option for their kid.
*Which might have been a "stupid like a fox" thing done with the support of shelter staff since it got Lowtax looking for her in Arkansas, which I don't think she's ever been. But who knows.

Her name was LadyAmbien (for anyone who doubts, we actually do know that LowT does drugs and what are his favorites, but I have no proof), she had a picture of herself as her avatar, started getting into efights about pitbulls on the site and pregnancy-crying about people being mean to her and begging LowT to ban the mean goons. I figured the eventual breakup would be really funny, and it's not. It's fucking not at all. No argument that she's dumb as rocks but doesn't deserve any of this shit.
LadyAmbien was a reference to SoSe (remember Something Sensitive? Remember when it was
good mildly relevant?) where "Lord Ambien" had come up as the nom-du-jour to mock Lowtax & his style of management. the SoSe former fagmin-of-fagmins was sliding into MapleWife's DMs and they hit it off, and was largely why she chose it.
There is no smoking gun that proves Lowtax is abusing pills.
He's admitted to recreational use of Ambien and I believe Adderall before, but says he stopped.
But there's that infamous picture of Lowtax passed out on the couch with booze and pills nearby. So there is evidence, besides his behavior, that he's a pill-head.
