Harmon is an alcoholic who incessantly gaslights and takes advantage of his loved ones by claiming he's trying to do better and on the road to sobriety.
Roiland is more of a meth addict with his middle finger up to the world.

They're both scum.
Was I defending Harmon? I think their both scumbags. I'm just saying Harmon doesn't tried to hide it or doesn't try hard too. Was what I was saying

And I disagree. He admits he's a scumbag, but the admission is an attempt to manipulate people into giving him a free pass for his past while doing nothing to change his behavior in the future.

There is an inherent honest to Roiland just being a scumbag, whereas Harmon's "honesty" is limited and conditional.

We have to come up with a name for schlubby creators who groom and pursue young girls once something they work on becomes famous, because it happens so often. Jew Wario-ing? Pro-Jareding? John Kricfalusiing?

On the one hand I'm glad this show will crash and burn even more because the reddit meltdown will be great, but on the other I miss the good old days when nobody cared about your heinous private life and they just let you carry on with your stuff.

I don't think Kevin Spacey is innocent, but no crime he committed is somehow worse than the last season of House of Cards.

At least House of Cards season 6 (the last season Spacey did) provides an out for fans. Frank confesses to just about all of his sins save for the murders he did/arranged, resigns as President, allowing his wife to become President, with the plan being that she'll pardon Frank and he'll go on to become the new power broker in Washington, ruling from the shadows and having all of the politicians as his slaves. Only for his wife to basically backstab him in her first public address to the nation by not including in her speech that she plans on pardoning Frank and Frank basically realizing he got played and declaring war on his wife in his last aside to the camera. Decent jumping off point as Frank gets his comeuppance and fits with the original book series, where Claire's counterpart did something similar (her deciding to point blank murder her husband Francis Urquhart, martyring him so as to negate any attempts to expose his crimes).

As for Rick and Morty season 7, the current online gossip is that Roiland already did his recording for the season before getting fired; hence why the show is not canceled as they don't want to have to delay shit to find new voice actors and re-record their dialogue and/or redo the season premiere to explain the voice change. Also, season seven supposedly will have a season five type clean slate clearing, meaning the Rick Prime arc will probably be resolved by the end of the season. And that Harmon's already trying to either buy out his contract for the last 30 episodes season 8-10 would consist of or get Adult Swim to retool the show ala Mr Pickles and turn it into something else that would be covered by said contract for said remaining episodes.

Yea, and that's because the cast and crew of House of Cards take it seriously and understand its fans. With season 7 of Rick & Morty, they'll probably hire someone who will voice Rick, Morty and other characters Roiland used to voice. My bet is that they'll hire Michael Cusack or Seth Green. I highly doubt the latter, but the former would be an easy pick.

They should hire black trans women to do the voices so I can watch the Internet implode. That would be more entertaining than more Rick and Morty.
And they would get Tracy Morgan to voice Rick in a few episodes. They'll just lecture about BLM, Asian Hate, Trans Rights or Ukraine.

I like that beating the shit out of your girlfriend and calling Dolly Parton a bimbo on social media have the exact same consequences over at the Cartoon Network.
They hired a racist red neck to play a racist red neck. Why are they surprised when he says stupid shit on social media?
