Eltex equipment are basically mage robes IN SPACEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Royalty introduced psychic powers and limits their use with a neural heat limit and a Psyfocus cost. Battle powers tend to have more heat generation while non-combat powers tend to require more focus. Eltex equipment boosts how powerful your psychic powers are and increases your heat limit, allowing you to cast more, and harder. A pawn equipped with Eltex gear also gains more of a benefit from positive psychic powers, at the cost of getting hit by negative powers a little harder as well. Or to simplify things: You cast more and cast better.

Wouldn't that be a good idea to stick it on magic missile man? Since it's functionally your 'fuck you' button. I vote for the shirt.

No. Magic does not function like Psycaster powers since that stuff, while behaving in a similar manner, is from a mod that does its own thing. There are pieces of mage gear that will help her, but right now, only Penny can make use of it's full capacity. Slight asterisk in that Kevin will also be able to use it if we boost his noble title, as Eltex equipment is considered "Noble Apparel".
