RIP Thread

I'm shocked by Norm's passing.
I had no idea he even had cancer. He was one truly stoic motherfucker. Most of the pussies who infest entertainment would narcissistically milk this shit for everything they could get, and he would rather just keep on trucking and do his work until the very end.

There's some actual heroism in that.

The cause of the cancer? You guessed it...

R.I.P, discovered you via Fairly Odd Parents, rediscovered you by Nerdwritter1's fantastic video essay/tribute, and fell in love with you via SNL, your stand up and the "I'm Not Norm" channel.

Norm's biggest fan channel just uploaded this brief conversation Norm had on a podcast.

It confirms that Norm agreed 100% with sentiment you just wrote.

A moth walks into a orthopedist's office, says to the doctor
"Doc, I'm not doing well...
Every day I wake up and my joints are on fire,
I try to pee in the morning but it burns as bad as my joints
which feel like they're on fire."
he says "doc,
Sometimes my bones feel like they're breaking.
I can't play ball with my Son, Dylan, because every time I catch the ball, my fingers feel like they're shattering."
He says "doc, I'm not feeling great;
I get these inflamed nodes in my arm pit and my neck, and my groin.
Doc, I haven't been able to eat without vomiting
Or sleep without shitting myself, doc. I'm in real bad shape."

And the doctor goes "whoa man, you're really messed up, but you really need to be seeing an oncologist. What on earth did you come in here for?"

And the moth says.
"Because the light was on, oh wait, no now everything's going dark. Doc? Hello? Doc? Oh god, I see a light, but it's a different light, is that... Grandma?"

And then he died.
