Well honestly redemption is one of the most story elements in my book because of the exact reason above. Then again, redemption is somewhat considered Judeo/Christian in nature and thus Bobby has an automatic aversion to it despite even its literary merits.

Absolutely to both of these. You have to be some kind of egomaniac to identify closely with a perfect hero. It's fine and normal to look at said heroes and say "I should try to be more like him" or "I wish I was that guy," but villains are more often the ones who fuck up and get pissed off like real people do. This is why shades of gray are important in a fictional universe--in a pure black-and-white situation, most people will gravitate towards the villain as the more human of the two. Antiheroes and villains with a spark of good left make for a much more interesting, nuanced story.

Lets just think for a second if blobbo's beloved mario franchise had a game where Mario gets possessed by that big ghost faggot and turns into a crazy megalomaniac villain, causing Bowser to become the main protagonist for the game and end up saving the Mushroom Kingdom, even if the game was utter shit even by mario standards it would still be extremely memorable to fans for the basic subversion of characters.

Back when I watched Bob, I mostly stuck to his movie reviews, and back then he almost never showed his face and spoke normally. I think that's what made him bearable; if I realized the voice I was listening to belonged to a fat man in his 30s that looked like a sex offender I don't think I would have continued watching. I started to dislike him when he started slipping weird political arguments in his videos; one of the catalysts for me was his review of The Giver in which he criticized it for it's "perfect society is really evil" story. Looking back, it makes sense he would hate a movie like that considering his bizarre globalist opinions.

This was before Bob went off the deep end during GamerGate. I stopped watching him totally a couple weeks before he got fired from the Escapist because I started to realize how annoying he was.

So, I used to watch him on the escapist. Especially because That's where I began my love for criticism as an art form, and it was wasteland back in those days. Funny enough, he's the one that introduced me to RLM in the first place. So, then I realized he was kind of a hack. fftopic: Online was canon. Its current status is up in the air but it was 100% developed as being canon to the point that Toriyama was involved and the designs are all based on the original manga rather than Toei's anime.

Agreed, also, that chick is talking out of her ass, she's saying that Hollywood says that diverse movies don't sell in China because they don't do market research.. Umm, I'm pretty sure that this statement is the result of actual fucking market research.. Specifically, historical analysis of box office intakes.

What Cultural Marxists don't realize is that not everyone will value the same things, People in the west may value diversity and inclusion (we can agree or disagree on whether it's forced or not in any given work), but I have never seen any easterner say that they value those things, and I mean both Middle and far east people. Hell, I know African people, and they never mentioned to me that "Gee, neural, I loved the fact that this movie has a black lead!"..

The problem with all formats of Marxism is that humans can never agree in totality on the details of anything, be it diversity, economic equality, what to have for breakfast..etc, so it's only recourse is to force the upper echelon' desires and ideas on everyone and unify everything, and this has the capacity to harm a lot of people in a lot of ways.
