What? I know this is sarcasm and I still can't tell what his point is.
But Legend of Zelda isn't designed around that. Making his point stupid.I think he's trying to make a clever response to the recent hoo-hah concerning games allowing players to make choices, like in Deus Ex. As with everything else MovieBlob does, he fails hard at making a cogent point.
So by Bob's tortured logic, wanting the player to feel like they're having an impact on a game's narrative also means they're alt-right dude-bros. wow Bob, just keep comparing apples to oranges.
Bob taking on the role of Autist.Nope, still doesn't make sense.

He has become dumber as the years goes on. Has his fat replace his brain?
Yes
No idea. That's why I don't like doing reviews.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: we never see Bob below the knees.
Bob taking on the role of Autist.
Don't show show this guy the Elder Scrolls, or a Megami Tensei game, or any Atlas RPG, Fallout 4, Fire Emblem... just show him Hydlide he'd like that one.Nope, still doesn't make sense.

Am I the only one who finds it disturbing how he and McIntosh want to limit player choice to discourage wrongthink? Games have been letting you control the narrative for a long time, so why DE: MD was the straw that broke the camel's back for them is baffling to say the least.
Bob's mom was right, all those years of playing the Nintendo seem to have rotted his brain. I mean I get he's trying to mock the anti SJW side, but I just don't get how in the hell he can legitimately think this is scathing commentary.Nope, still doesn't make sense.

No, you're not the only one. DE:MD is such a target for them for several reasons. First, it's a game tackling race and other sociopolitical issues through metaphor rather than shoving an explicit message down your throat, which cultural critics like Bob and McIntosh hate because it encourages introspection and allows the player to potentially come to a different conclusion than the game maker. Second, when they and the rest of games media threw a fit about it, instead of instantly backing down and kissing the ring, Eidos and Square Enix more or less told them to go jump in a lake. They are REALLY threatened by the fact that their power over developers is waning, and that games and other media that DO come out of their clique keep under-performing or outright failing.
