But it's terrible when men do it just because.

Bernie Sanders is an elderly crackpot and Bob's opposition to him is one of the few things he gets right, though in Bobbish fashion he gets it right for all the wrong reasons. Besides, if Bernie had lost in the general, he'd be salty as fuck about "Hillary bros" and we all know it.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, how the fuck can Bob live in New England and not know Vermonters are lunatics on the Second Amendment, and that is the sole reason for Bernie having a voting record on the issue that would look at home in Texas? Oh right. It's Bob!

Man, I forgot about that, because WB never, and I mean never recovered from bigger disasters just fine.
And it's not like 2017 movies such as Dunkirk and IT, which did super well at the box office, made money for the company that it could offset what they lost from Justice League.

I agree with the first half of your post, but not this. I think if Bernie lost the general Bob would be the one and only person who would unironically say, "Hillary would have won."

Hmm. Yeah, that's probably a fair point. He's bathed in feminist Kool-Aid and I suppose it goes back further than '16. Though I seem to recall him sneering at Hillary when she was losing to Obama.

I made it to Birdo before I had to pause the video and close the tab.

You added taglines to further explain certain extra exceptionalism but you failed to mention that he thinks we should use Birdo because, and I'm paraphrasing here because I don't want to pull it back up to find the exact quote: "We've only got maybe meaningfully two years left for Mario as a brand and franchise before it dies off because The Minions guys have the movie rights."

He's made his own video on that anyway so I thought I could omit that out since you can only compress Bob's bullshit so far until it starts to overflow.

Vermont was the first state to have "constitutional carry" (no permit required to carry handguns), but these days they don't really stand out from the rest of Northern New England. New Hampshire and Maine now also have constitutional carry, and NH has a large population of libertarians, meaning it has the highest per capita ownership of machine guns, short barreled rifles, and silencers in the country. Actually, all 3 states are less restricted than Texas. You still need a permit to carry guns there, though it's easy to get.

Of course, New Hampshire also has the lowest murder rate in the entire country, so Bob certainly wouldn't want to mention it too much. Maine has the second lowest, and Vermont is also pretty low.

The gun talk is making me think of how insane it is that Bob believes we shouldn't have them, borders, and possible the police depending how you talk his comments (because they kill minorities of course).

There's a world of difference between "I'm sad X shut down" and "Disney will have it's own superior nation to replace Wasteland America", fatass.

They're called Mario Characters. Nobody gives a shit about the Doki Doki characters at nintendo.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Doki Doki characters are owned by Fuji TV. I'd imagine it would be another rights issue to get them in Smash (that explains why Doki Doki Panic still hasn't been released outside of Japan despite it being years since the game's release).

It's part and parcel with his black & white, childish analytical skills. He imagines every big franchise or movement or genre has a single Achilles heel that can take it down in one fell swoop. In fact this happens very rarely, and most institutions have to weather many small indignities and missteps before collapsing. You can look at the catalyst for that collapse and blame it singlehandedly, but it's pure ignorance to fail to take into account the things that led up to the final blow.

Marvel won't go down over one shitty movie when it inevitably appears; it has too much cachet. If Anthem kills BioWare, it sure as hell won't solely be due to Anthem failing -- you can trace over seven years of missteps and fuckups. And it's not even always right: initially people thought the superhero genre was dead at the hands of Batman & Robin, but in fact the studios learned the proper lesson about how a superhero franchise needs to be treated, and it was only a few years later X-Men and Spider-Man reinvigorated it.

But Bob only sees heroes and villains, and no in-between.
On that subject, I think that's been the conventional wisdom for these companies. Regarding the Weinstein Company, people will assume that the scandal is what brought down the company. However, they were actually struggling way before the scandal, which was the last thing they needed.

Also counted, Carolco Pictures, the studio behind Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Rambo, and Total Recall, which had financial problems up the ass before Cutthroat Island bankrupted them.

It's usually the smaller companies that goes down because of the market competition and how it drives some content away from them. Heck, I bet you Disney would be still mega successful if both Marvel (both Marvel Entertainment and Marvel Studios included) and Lucasfilm were to be spun off or they sold them back to whoever they got em from.

If Bob thinks Disney will have its own nation he is a straight up dumbass then. Sooner or later, his beloved company will struggle for a while like MGM, Paramount, and Sony Pictures.

More like the entire globe than "just a nation". He's thinks they'll be one of the potential creators of "The Superior Future".

How long until Bob is banned from Twitter like Dobson and Spoony were?
Until his employers have the balls to notify Twitter, as well as Twitter stops having a liberal bias.

Sounds like Bob failed geography class in school.

They are, but even if they weren't, from everything I've ever heard on the subject, Miyamoto was working on SM2 when the Fuji TV deal happened and he made it into Doki Doki Panic and then jumped at the chance to make it into Super Mario US, and never looked back.

I don't know if Bob is excluding himself by saying his generation wanted to stay "kids" forever, but if he is then he's got no right to say that when he lives in a basement adorned with Mario memorabilia. And if he isn't excluding himself, then he's unintentionally painting his entire generation as spoiled, entitled manchildren.

Although he wouldn't be wrong if the latter were the case.
