The fact he thinks this is worth 3,5 stars out of four and that Thanos is a parody of self loathing daddy characters (while urinating his sugar flavored piss over the new God of War) is hilarious. Thanos is not played as a parody. He is played pretty much straight in this trope, despite the fact it feels softer spoken than he would be in the comics.

Pseudo-intellectual types have to claim everything they have a hard-on for to be "ironic" or "a parody", because they see the hidden, deep messages that we plebs don't.

At the risk of being off topic I just watched this vid and one of the first things I thought was that Bob could never create a vid this concise or self aware with a gun to his head. I think a point that is hit on several times in this vid rings true and goes against a lot of Bobs ethos. That being that dumb fun movies should just be appreciated as dumb fun movies. It really puts any criticism negative or positive on the MCU into perspective.

I could easily see Bob take this same concept for a vid and make an entire year long series out of it, all the while being less informative and entertaining than these 15 minutes.
