The very fact that blog post exists is some strong evidence that Pitts gave him "The Talking To" and Bob was made to be aware that even though it's no longer Alex Macris at the reigns, Bob is on a very short leash.

That blog post, to me, gives me a glimmer of faith in Pitts. Not Bob, but Pitts. I mean sure, yeah, he hired MovieBob, but he's at least willing to tell him to cut the bullshit, which is more than ScreenWho and NerdWhat have done.

I know of only one other person on the internet (debating thread on them or not) who has demonstrated as much of a willingness to be an inquisitor as Bob here. And just like Bob, he's willing to spare anybody the lash if you suck up enough to him or he personally likes you.

Just look at this whole James Gunn thing for a minute. Business require a measure of predictability in order to operate, that's one of the (many) factors which lead to Europe developing as fast as it did once they started to move away from the rule of Man towards the rule of Law. Bob so clearly wants to reverse that trend - total freedom for those who find his favor; off to the gulag for those who displease him. Yet such a state of affairs would end up costing him the things he loves like GotG 3 because no Disney in this world is going to want to risk billions of dollars only to have King Bob forget his diabetes medicine one day and take out his anger on the corporation.

Holy shit, can Bob just let this go already? I’m not highly qualify to talk about the James Gunn controversy, but this is going beyond beating a dead horse. I highly doubt Gunn wants to direct GotG3 again now.

What I think Bob is really pissy about is that with Gunn out the door and probably won’t want to get rehired, GotG3 may be the first film in the MCU to fully suck.
