They're civil causes of actions, you fucking chowderhead. That is to say: they are not crimes in any way, shape, or form. They are specifically relegated to civil adjudicators because the seriousness of the offense does not rise to the level of crime.

Gunn has basically said even he thinks that Disney were right to can him when they did, so without him pushing for it there's no real movement behind the rehiring campaign. Even with the Guardians actors, a lot of them are probably only still attached to Guardians 3 before their contract renews so they don't have a great bargaining standpoint.

IIRC, was GotG 2 right around the time his father died so there's some close association with that movie and a family member.
