Some in this thread have claimed Bob was always like this but I think the full picture is weirder than that and his love for big brother is more complex. See, Bob always has these fantasies of some corporation taking over the world and being able to do whatever they want as the proved themselves to be "Superior" to the general population. It's not so much that he wants an all-power government than it's some extreme Randian fantasy of a man being so power and so rich that he becomes god-king. You'll notice he never makes a distinction between corporations and governments.
One days not simply become as vitriolic as Bob is. He was always this way, post-2014 he was allowed to display his abhorrent behavior more openly.
Then again, MovieBob has always been an acceptable target for ridicule, just like his meatpuppet.

Yeah, I added an edit to the post. My bad, I typed it up while drinking a quarter of a glass of bourbon. Still, the guy who draws Chun-Li made fanart of Bowsette, and even the guy behind Dragon Maid drew it. Said artist made more of an impact on Mario than Bob did, and that really rustles his jimmies.
Despite the fact that Bowsette is just a genderswap because of the crown, not Bowser mutilating himself.
