Absolutely; there's no attention paid to the future.

These are the facts:
Trump is divisive and one of the most unpopular candidates ever.
Trump has declared open season on anyone who didn't support him in the party.
Trump will, inevitably, upset people who voted for him this cycle. He will go into 2018 with a very low disapproval rating.

Concentrating on the now is folly as what done is done. Democratic victories are almost assured in 2018, which scares the fuck out of me.
