Bob reminds me of a supporting character from the early Firestorm comics called Cliff Carmichael. It was an inversion of the Parker Parker/Flash Thompson relationship from the Lee/Ditko Spider-Man run where Cliff was an arrogant intellectual who lorded his intelligence over Ronnie Raymond, a jock and one half of Firestorm. He constantly belittled Ronnie and tormented him with pranks. Needless to say Cliff's massive ego made him unpopular with his peers. Granted, Cliff was a certified genius (unlike Bob) and became a super villain in his own right, but the two are intellectual thugs.

I am constantly thankful that Bob has no power or influence to speak of. To him power is a bludgeon to batter his enemies into submission without regard for the consequences of his actions. What is more jarring is how he believes that same power belongs to brahmins of the Potomac, the ivory tower academics, and the entertainment-media complex as "influencers" of the unwashed masses. All of them overwhelmingly supported Hillary, but he does not understand that the power ultimately resides in the citizenry nor does he understand the checks and balances within the system. If you replaced Trump with Bob in the Oval Office, you can bet your bottom dollar that the SCOTUS would strike down his "executive" orders with both the House and Senate pushing through his impeachment. If worse came to worst, the civilian populace and military would turn on the diabetic Nero and string his bloated carcass from the Captiol for the carrion to feast on.

Other lolcows are victims of circumstance and it's difficult to imagine them turning their life around. Bob (and to a lesser extent Spoony) are like someone from an Greek fable or an episode of The Twilight Zone in that they are in a hell of their own making, they can leave any time they want but are too lazy and resentful to do it.

Bob has his shit together. He's never had to beg for money or be thrown out of his house as far as I know, and when his "basement apartment" flooded, he delt with it instead of sperging on Twitter for days. If he tried, I imagine Bob could be a mid tier YouTuber along the lines of Avalanche Reviews, Brandon Cult Movie Reviews, Cinema Snob, SNES Drunk, or Examined Life of Gaming. It could be film reviews and videos about obscure Nintendo games, but he won't do that. He's had shows like that and he torpedoed them by ranting about Trump, dude bros, wasteland ghouls, Halo, and all the other targets of his ire.

Most lolcows say mean things either in impotent rage, ignorance, being an edge lord, or as a means of getting attention and ass-pats. Bob does that too, but he seethes with sense of hatred and bitterness few lolcows possess, and those that do usually limit it to 1 or 2 targets. Bob seems to have a sincere desire to create a world where his enemies (the working class, jocks, and anyone who plays Call of Duty) suffer in gulags and death camps, and tries (and fails) to persuade people to vote in a way that gets him closer to that goal.
