TL;DW: Bob rants about Ghostbusters 2016 hate (Again)
Bob sidenotes that REALLY THAT GOOD: STAR WARS is still being worked on, this video is a little snack while his audience waits for the main dish. Said dish has been cooking for 6 months ever since he revealed he was gonna do it, but hey, what do I know about making 3 hour video essays?
Bob first talks about the Ghostbusters 3 teaser, then Instantly goes on a tangent about the negative reception Fembusters got and views the hate as them being Obsessive and spiteful after all these years. At 1:53 He addresses "Those" pictures of him, Defensively claims he only wore the costumes on Halloween/Conventions years ago, and counter claims that those who harp on him for his costume choice are the real pathetic ones. During 3:22 He is excited about Ghostbusters 3 but knows that the people he doesn't like are also excited, and then tells his audience not to let that make them angry. (HA!)
Bob then defends that Fembusters is only "okay" but feels the hate for it so overblown. He Fembusters story and action scenes feel disconnected. His explanation on this is that it's simply a symptom of modern Hollywood's desire to put in costly CG effects and rush out movies with minimal time to develop for maximum profit, thus guaranteed Fembusters' story felt half-baked.
Suddenly jokes that he's rambling but doesn't stop.
Bob discusses why people get so fanatical about this as he believes they are not so much in love with the Ghostbusters movies but more in love with the Ghostbusters brand, cartoon, and toys. Then he bitches about the Max Landis draft of Ghostbusters 3. He tells his audience that it's too fanservicey and knows the fans would want to eat it up and absolutely detest any kind of new twist on the old formula.
Bob finally at the last minute gets back on track and speculates Ghostbusters 3 will have Kid ghostbusters with the old cast as mentors.
He surmises that he is mildly hyped and knows that the "Incel 4chan assholes" is hyped too, but will not stop him from enjoying Ghostbusters 3.

I'm no expert in film making, but I thought the problem was the opposite of what Bob said? That films have gotten so expensive that they need to break box office records just to make their money back, and because there's so much money on the line the producers and committees don't want anything that isn't a sure thing. Either not knowing or not caring that no one likes film-by-committee shit and social justice shit.

This has been known since the Sony e-mail leak that this was going to be the general story of Ghostbusters 3.
Bob virtue signals about how great She-Ra and Spider-Verse are. I've not seen anyone talk about She-Ra or Spider-Verse outside social justice Twitter so I don't know if they're any good. But as with Black Panther, when the only selling point I hear is "there's lesbians/black people/gay people in it" then I have no interest in watching it.
I think it's all but confirmed that he reads this thread.

Possible, but I imagine that enough people confront him with them on Twitter (clearly his preferred site to connect to the outside world) that he could only have a cursory knowledge of this site's existence. There's no shortage of places discussing Bob and his vision of a superior future.

I feel sympathy for ZoidsBN as he sounds like he really believes that Bob can be talked out of acting exceptional. Bob's stubborn inability to listen to advice which would make him a well-rounded person is only exceeded by Chris-chan's inability to do the same. When your entire self-worth hinges on you ignoring reality, you're not only doomed to suffer the consequences of your beliefs, you're also rendered incapable of changing them. Also, I highly doubt that mean people online impacted Bob's career in any way. It was Bob's own actions that got him fired from the Escapist, and if he ever experiences any sort of downfall, I'm 110 percent sure it will be because of his own actions, not because some flyover ghoul in a MAGA hat put some kind of Pepe the Frog curse on him.
