Looks like Bob was busy again checking wikipedia.

Seriously speaking, I can't barely watch the video, as usual Bob can't avoid to sperg about MEAN MEN disliking the movie; seriously I can't wait to see posterior videos white-knighting this movie doesn't perform as Disney wanted.

I love how he's using a photo of cosplayers to mock internet trolls when this photo is still a prevalent aspect of Bob lore.

How many good boy points do you think he earned by making this video?

So I watched the video's it's pretty much a standard Bob video,

-Downplays DC marvel.
-Overplays Carols popularity and downplays other legacy Captain marvels
-Completly ignores or isnt aware off the obvious contrived hard push of Carol for the last 5 years.
-Superior futchah where the trashy films have der wimmin and minorities as heroes and fans.
-Passive aggresive resentment over the dudebros who think it looks shit.
-Some strawmen.
-ITS NOT FOR YOU ANYMORE!!

Usual Bob shit.

You know, I have the theme from Rocko's Modern Life stuck in my head, and I thought "Film Bob's Modern Life" would be a funny take on that.

Then I realized it would basically be a show where a bitter version of Heffer sits on his computer all day, tweeting angrily about things while he walks around in ankle-deep water, and never interacts with anyone of substance.

That show would suck so much.

So, it'd be a show about Edward Bighead?

I used to watch his show regularly on the Escapist, many moons ago... but him and Wil Wheaton lost their fucking shit about Trump, and started being exceptionalists for intersectionalism. I'm proud to be blocked on most forms of social media, by the pair of them.

I was thinking more among the lines of Patrick from Spongebob

I finally saw the silent film, Metropolis
I once saw a showing of Metropolis and Golem with a live band providing the soundtrack. I count this as one of the most exciting movie watching experience ever. If you ever see something like this I urge you to give it a go.

Dark Knight Returns and Death of Superman trilogy have been in print non-stop since their first TPB release (though Death's had numerous variations in terms of various collections omitting issues depending on which collection you have).

Also, What's So Funny About T,J,TAW is a bit trickier in that it was a single issue and not an actual arc. So it's fallen out of print save for "best of" compilations.
Even easier, just plant a "inspired Batman v. Superman" sticker on the front of the recent publishing and hope that people who own comic book shops will refer interested readers from the movie to those books.

"When did everyone turn negative on Carol Danvers?"
A few years ago, when the character was changed from a fun, if somewhat minor, addition to the Avengers roster who spoke with her actions to a overly-stoic, boring plank of wood who was more interest in talking about how strong she was rather than acting in a way that would convey that the readers.

Getting shoehorned into every single piece of Marvel media over more popular characters also doesn't help.

AOC traded in 25,000 jobs at an Amazon HQ because she couldn't ideologically comprehend a big business getting a tax break in exchange for bringing said jobs. That move alone lost her any right she had to be "the working class candidate". When she had to choose helping her constituents or being a good comrade, she chose the latter without a beat.

Regarding Bob hating Reagan, it makes a lot of sense. Reagan was able to reach the top of both the film industry and the political system, Bob's dream jobs, all the while being a dirty Republican. Meanwhile. the best Bob can do is sperg on Twitter pretending to know squat about either topic. Really, all Reagan was missing was a role in Batman v. Superman to be Chipman Enemy No. 1.

AOC talked a lot but at the end of the day it was Unions that killed the Amazon deal because Amazon won't cave to the mafia that is organized labor in this country.

Unions actively support the DNC who brings in low cost labor to supplant the American worker and people think they are on their side. Unions don't give a fuck about their members they care about the dues and they know that eventually Juan and Juanita will be conned into joining and that's more cash for them.

I thought it was because she didn't understand that the tax break Amazon would receive was just a partial refund from all the tax revenue the new plant would be delivering, and not a payout from the state.

Well, she clearly didn't understand that because she's a fucking moron but Union hads been fighting it from go. They hate that Amazon is keeping them out because those are thousands upon thousands of people they can extort money from under the guise of protection.

I highly doubt Moviebob even knew who Captain Marvel was before this movie. Nobody even knew who the male Captain Marvels were. They never got any cartoons, movies, or maybe even toys. Nobody knew who any of them were unless they read the comics. Maybe it's not that people don't like Captain Marvel, they just don't know or care who she is, and all this out-of-nowhere pushing of the character is getting people annoyed. To be fair, they did the same thing with Black Panther, another D list superhero, and he did just fine.

Wasn't the difference that Black Panther was a movie that people liked? I never saw it because I don't see many movies in theaters anymore, but I heard good things about it from people of all walks of life, so it didn't have the weird political stint that got pushed by the actor of Captain Marvel and no one else. I don't remember anyone pushing Black Panther but audiences, really. With Captain Marvel you saw Disney buying out theaters so that they'd only play that and nothing else, which is just downright scummy. It's not gonna change anything other than negatively impact their public image, but it's still just gross.

There's also the fact that Chadwick Boseman is charismatic as hell in and out of character, while Brie Larson's engine seems to have only two speeds: Dull and Cunt.

You can also credit it to the fact that the entire Black Panther cast ignored any online political banter regarding the movie. They decided to just sit back, let the movie make money and walk away with success and praise.

Larson on the other went out of her way to pick fights with people over "evil white males" and "I am a woman!" banter.
