You know, that kind of extra-proves Bob really believes "no bad tactics, only bad targets" also applies to laws. Because you're totally right - the issue isn't that Hilary broke the law or put american secrets at risk, the issue is that Julian helped to get her caught. Same thing with Gunn. It literally doesn't matter what is done, only who does it.

At some point you wonder if you could get Bob to actually justify the rape of Nanjing since it was the Japanese (who he likes) doing it while a Nazi (who he dislikes) tried to save lives.

Bob unironically thinks that whatever he wants is automatically good and should be the entire world’s top priority. I think I've seen Cellulite Robert actually say as much, but fucked if I can muster up the energy to go find it.

Far as the Gunn rehiring goes, a point I thought that was pretty reasonable about the whole thing is that Gunn started his career with Troma Entertainment, which I'm pretty sure is the schlockiest schlockfest of a studio to every exist, and they go out of their way to be outrageous and edgy.

I don't know that them being longtime cinematic shitposters justifies any of Gunn's commentary, but it does explain why he'd think shit like that was something he could get away with, when he posted it; he definitely got away with it, during his association with Troma.

Been a while since I’ve checked this thread, and I’m instantly reminded of how much I despise Bob.
His whole attitude is the most vile mix of strawman-like ultra-conservative “poor people are lazy and deserve to starve” sentiment but dolled up and made “acceptable” with the most obnoxious holier-than-thou liberal trappings.
The most despicable thing is that Bob isn’t some high-class coastal elite with millions of dollars and a wall separating him from the poors. He’s a fat, dumpy basement dweller who makes a living off of putting up Youtube videos of mass-produced Hollywood swill.
Bob is a neo-liberal court jester. A smelly, dumpy peasant who desperately wants to be part of the aristocracy and does so by sucking up to his masters and holding contempt for the lower classes (to which he himself belongs).

To be specific, he's mentioned having symptoms of sleep apnea, but I don't think I recall him ever reaching that conclusion himself; we did that. Regardless, the conclusion stands: Bob is a literal mouth-breather, and that is why he has his mouth slightly open like that.

I don't think that would be hard considering how repulsive his views are. You can easily argue he's already a gateway to, what he considers to be, the far-right. Hell, pretty sure he had that reaction to some people in this thread.
