I think Blobb assumes they’re friends because he thinks they share an ideology or are on the “same side”. Then he posts asinine political hot takes, because like we’ve all said Blobb is dumb as shit, and he finds out those “friends” think he’s just as stupid as we say he is.
Of course anyone with a modicum of common sense would see Bob as a dumb fuck who cannot put 2 and 2 together, even less to understand politics to a decent level. I wouldn't say that Bob thinks other lefties are friends but he would think they symphatize with him to a certain level because they are on "the same side" only for other lefties to run when Bob goes on a sperg rage about how much he hates the working class and think they are holding them back.
I think we already heard it from his mouth a couple of times, but Bob thinks the current left is too soft for him. In this case, i will say he doesn't want his views challenged or changed, but he still wants to be part of the popular kids club by parroting around how much he loves them and their beliefs.
