Kevin Smith didn’t decline so much as he smoked so much pot that the creative centre of his brain decided that maintaining a basic level of competence was just too much effort, man.

Rodriguez is one of my favorite film makers (even if he misses more than he hits, and overuses CGI) because of his attitude to film making on small budgets. His first film was funded by him selling his body to science. ie. Doing drug tests. He likes smaller budgets because he can keep creative control over the film. He's also been kicked out of the academy of motion pictures (or some other mandatory film union) multiple times for being a trouble maker. That "trouble" being things like wanting to direct and edit his own films, or wanting to give Frank Miller directing credit for Sin City.I can’t say Rodriguez hasn’t, but his situation is very similar. Kevin Smith meanwhile funded Clerks by crashing his car for an insurance payment and maxing our credit cards and then filmed the whole thing at night in the grocery store he worked at while also working his regular shift during the day. That’s true indie cinema right there
Bob would never play Civ unless it had Mario in it. Even if he did, he's do exactly what you predict, fail, and then complain that the game is imbalanced to be pro-obsolete. Can you imagine how upset he'd get when all his advisers are telling him to build city walls. What I'm saying is, is if Bob ever played Civ V, he would rush whatever tech let's you "Produce Science", set all of his cities to do nothing but that, never send Workers out to develop tiles, and be really confused when Gandhi somehow got nukes first and dropped them on his fat ass.
Generally, I see two ways people enjoy Falling Down. As a tragedy, or as catharsis as D-Fens goes around town getting revenge on day-to-day frustrations.I know when I watch Falling Down it makes me wanna goose step everywhere and oppress people I view as “the other” and constitutional rights.
The answer is right in the tweet. They come from propagandist college professors and people brainwashed by propagandist college professors to see everything through a propagandist lens.Generally, I see two ways people enjoy Falling Down. I don't know where this sudden stream of shitty reinterpretations of popular films comes from, but I can't help but read them as a hipster trying to be the smartest person in the room and failing.

Don't want to pull a Charlie Kirk here, but someone needs to bring up the issue of Bob and his consumption of high-fructose corn syrup.Corn is bad too

Pot made Kevin Smith a significantly worse film maker, but somehow strangely more fun to listen to.
Stick to podcasts and public speeches pal.
As a former pot smoker once told me, there are two kinds of pot smokers: the kind who get really relaxed and the kind who get really paranoid. So it'd actually be a roll of the dice whether dude weed would make Bob's dysfunctions better or worse. The former requires focus, energy, and drive; the latter works just fine if you're feeling expansive and prone to making loopy observations. Which, come to think of it, means Bob's various terrible videos might be immensely improved if he started toking up, but my Lord, just imagine what his cases of the munchies would be like.

He's already given us a pretty good idea of what that would be like.A stoned Bob Chipman posting paranoid rants on his Twitter all day would make this thread the most entertaining on the site.
I'm guessing Bob is one of those idiots that think food comes from the super market.

Ironically, this professor was so obsessed with seeing fascism everywhere that he missed the much more obvious leftist interpretation of the movie, that D-Fens is a a good worker who followed the rules all his life but snaps due to the unfair abuse and exploitation of the capitalist system, and that he's a stand in for all the good obedient workers exploited and abused by the system.
See? This shit ain't hard. I could be a breadtube if I wanted to peddle that bullshit. Professors are some of the worst leftists because most of them have never actually worked anywhere outside of academia and live in Self Important Asshole Theoretical Land.
lol “Nothing to see here folks. Don’t even hate watch movies guys it’s soooooooooo not worth it.”CLOWN MOVIE BAD

Satan is also about repression, humiliation and emotional detachment. He also loves publicly repressed (but privately degenerate) fitness obsessed greedy businessmen. And nothing is more republican than them.Bob is a perfect example of the result of following the devil. No Bob, Satan has never been about right wing views. He has always been about hedonism, ego, complete tolerance of all behavior, appealing to emotion, and creating destabilization between people. Satan loves angry egotistical obese men trying to say there should be no behavioral rules.
Nah. Everyone knows given the choice, you always kill the real Bob.This is going to turn out like one of those evil twin plot twists where nobody knows which one to kill
A skinny guy with slightly puffy cheeks? An actual evil twin of Bob would be like "Evil Cartman" from South Park. A nice chill guy everyone ends up loving. Or to put it more simply, Bob is the evil twin. He even has the mirror universe goatee.
Honestly it's not that difficult to figure out. With that last tweet, there has to be some macabre past event in like, highschool where Bob was gang raped by fifty skinny white farmer kids wearing Confederate flag capes or something.
There is no reason anyone should be this bitter about flyover states.
Bear in mind, the useful idiots are often the first ones against the wall, for a couple reasons: first, nobody hates something as hard as someone who used to love it, so if Bob-types wake up and smell the coffee, they become the regime's most intractable enemies. Second, if you can use the useful idiots, someone else potentially can too; once they've done their part installing the actual elite in power, they've outlived their usefulness.Honestly it's not that difficult to figure out.
Bob, and all suburban middle class liberals for that matter, are just the archetypical Useful Idiots advocating for things that will destroy them and their way of life because they've been convinced that it's all for the Superior Future.

Although that's only if he wasn't liquidated for being absolutely useless.
