Uh-huh, that's why it had three generations of fans who loved the franchise and who mostly agree at least the OT is great. Also proof positive he never did much beyond poorly consoom the movies, because the games and books were on average, well, average. I will say the quality dipped somewhat once you got into sequel land, but you still had great shit like the Thrawn trilogy there too.

40+ years of good to mediocre shit you could pull for the ST, and they make a worse Dark Empire and Jedi Prince.

And Bobby still wrong on there not being a plan for the MCU. The lot behind it clearly focused on making coherent origin movies first that can stand alone, would tease, but not necessarily follow through on their stingers, until they were confident they could pull off an Avengers movie. From there, they began to splice other genres into the capeshit to keep it more... well fresh. They also exploited the hell out of the decades of story lines, which this smoothbrain would know if he did more than google things to try and prove he's right.

How has the rest of the franchise outside this recent trilogy performed under the control of Disney? Well:

• We've had shitty books and comics, which were being written by a mega sperg who has a thread here
• We've seen the video games be fucking ruined. Disney shuts down highly anticipated games like 1313 and that Darth Maul game that was being developed
• They then give control over the video games to the single most hated video game company in America. EA precedes to piss on the corpse of one of the most popular Star Wars games from the last twenty years
• When they get a second shot at it, they butcher it so bad that we get a gamer revolt that's one of the largest since Gamergate

What has been good regarding this franchise since Disney took over? One show they produced, which probably isn't even as good as the fans are making it out to be?

Ya know, I like kicking Disney in the balls with an iron boot as much as the next guy for their fucks up. But, all this glamorizing of SW before they took over? Yeaaaah....Let's be real and not pretend there's so much silver among those clouds. I mean, the EU was by far the biggest mess even before Disney, with books how Palpatine managed to resurrect himself Dr.Who style, the whole idea with space zombies and so on. Hell, should I bring up one of the SW comics where they go how reasons WHY Jedi shouldn't fall in love is because when they get super jelly they can wreck an entire planet with force rage? The cartoon mini-series which let's be real was tied to the prequels and sadly hasn't aged well (seriously the animation looks stiff in some places and less said about the Voice acting the better), also I'd like to remind you that it was George's idea to write off that Jango wasn't a real Mandalorian but just some schmuck that stole their armor. As for games, I'd say it was more of a mix of good and bad since on the bad list we have Star Wars Force Commander, the SW Kinect, Force Unleashed 1-2, Battle for Naboo and there's probably others I'm forgetting. Plus, I could be wrong but both 1313 and the Darth Maul game had their own share of issues, hell with the Darth Maul game the devs stopped getting any communication with LucasArts WAAAAAAAAAY before Disney even came into play. 1313 was apparently rebuilt from scratch several times before it was finally shut down.
