I respectfully disagree. I don't believe that Bob is a communist. I believe that Bob has no set ideology other than "I, Bob". He'll go down whatever path as long as it gets him what he wants and hurts who he doesn't like. I believe he's made that last point abundantly clear. Also things wouldn't be simpler if Bob was the only one alive. You can't subjugate and lord over something that doesn't exist. If no one's around, who's gonna see Robert on the mountain top, back dropped by a lemon yellow sun, and his arms raised in a V?
Or to put it another way, Robert is an objectivist and a social darwinist when regulations and tariffs are being passed that help industries and people he considers undesirable and a communist when a product he consooms is being rejected by other people or he has to pay for rent/his diabetes medicine (even though with his Patreon and living expenses how they are, he should be able to afford it fine). He's pro democracy when his team is winning (Obama) and against it when his team is losing (Trump). Restrictions on government power/democracy are important and good when someone he doesn't like is trying to do something and gets stopped, but stupid and obsolete when the same thing happens with someone he likes. He has no principles, but he's learned how to mimic other people's in the various situations where he wants to justify his selfishness and vindictiveness.
I disagree. He's actually bashed auteur theory in the past, especially when complaints about a lack of creative freedom at Marvel Studios came about because how dare anyone say anything bad about his favorite franchise.
