Bob’s politics all boil down to this: If he’s not happy, nobody is allowed to be happy. If someone else is happy, they “stole” their joy and serenity from someone else. The zero-sum outlook is just bonkers.

Whenever Bob says "Vis a Vi" he's trying to impress you but pretending he isn't.
He’s literally David Brent.

If a mayo ghoul from Iowa was upset they couldn't attend the funeral of a parent, Bob would have no sympathy. But when it's an Asian woman...

Has Bob said anything about the revelations that doja cat is an avowed racist and kkk sympathizer? or does he not care?
He seems like the kinda guy to believe random shit he sees on twitter.

Unless Nicole's mother was in another country with closed borders, I can't see how she was unable to be present at her mother's funeral.

I was in a funeral service 2 weeks ago, small group, and I didn't stay long, since I was just a friend of the family I only gave my condolences and left, but funeral services are working just fine as long as there isn't a lot of gathering.

The hell is wrong with people? this social distancing stuff is to avoid large groups of people, but small groups in a organized fashion, people can meet if they are taking care of themselves.

So, if this social distancing is the only reason why Nicole Chung missed to bury her mother, then fuck off you dumb idiot, what, you wanted to saty home and chalk this up to have yet another slef-rigthous reason on why you hate Trump, and have a nice little card to play when having twitter rants?

It doesn’t fucking matter. The point is Bob and his ilk are religious nuts about their warped “equality” that forces everyone down to the same miserable level. It’s untreated mental illness masquerading as ideology.

From his past work, I imagine him more like Neil Breen or that guy from Geteven. Making ego projects were his obvious author insert walks around wooing ladies and killing the obsoletes.

Something I'm surprised nobody has commented on. There's the implication that the only reason he hasn't done animation is because lip syncing was hard, but more importantly can you imagine what monstrosities Bob could create if he actually does take the time to learn this and make things?
:stress:
This is why I always wanted him and Dobson to collaborate on a project because the levels of unintentional comedy would be great.

Bob HATES that “rape culture” is EVERYWHERE!

I guess rape culture “everywhere” doesn’t include the family basement Bob lives in. He’s boasting on Twitter (archive) that these four posters adorn his walls. Y’know, if I was a literal 40-year-old virgin who lives in a literal basement, I might try to dial back the creepy old incel quotient. But Bob rushes to Twitter to show his off.

Or all three.
I think you're confusing MovieBob with Andrew "has a gay brother he doesn't get along with for no known reason" Dobson. I can totally see him having a gay bully family member.

Bobby is apprehensive that cinemas will soon be filled with Rape Culture:

And I love how equates "young female films" with "arthouse fare".
Ahh yes, I remember that arthouse film I saw with the love triangle with the sparkly vampire, Native American werewolf, and boring stupid girl. It's much too obscure for you to have heard of it (great art often is), but as I recall it was called Twilight.

It's almost like, generally speaking, men and women have different tastes in films, and the things that men like draw in bigger crowds. There's a reason the 18-34-year-old male demographic is the most sought after, and it has nothing to do with dudebros hating "arthouse fare." Chick flicks (romance movies, romcoms, basically anything primarily marketed towards women) are just nowhere near as big of a draw as the latest action movie with explosions and hot chicks. It's simple fact, not sexism. It's also why you're seeing those sorts of movies primarily released on streaming services instead of in theaters; studios want asses in seats, and a romcom doesn't really benefit from the big screen like an action movie.

What makes it funnier is that this is two dudes complaining about this on behalf of women, since Ashley Lynch is a troon IIRC. "Let us be offended on your behalf, m'lady!"

The Twilight series was more or less the exception that proves the rule. They were released at the height of the Twilight craze, and that brand recognition certainly played no small role in the movies' success. If the first movie were released as just another vampire romance movie without the name behind it, I doubt it would have done anywhere near as well, let alone well enough to greenlight four sequels.

Anyone knows Japanese, how awakard does the google translation look for a native speaker?
It's a bit awkward and very noticeably Google Translated (as if this wasn't obvious).

そのような悲劇、あなたとあなたの友達への私の深い哀悼の意。= "Such a tragedy, my deep mourning to you and your friends."

Have some doubts the そのような was correctly used at the start of the sentence, but as my weeb expertise is poor I will refrain from commenting on that. I would drop the あなたの (anata no, "your") because you don't need to repeat the あなた to make clear you're talking about her friends, but it's not wrong per se.

The problem is that while the sentence is understandable, that's not an expression used in Japanese when talking about someone passing. It was 100% copy pasted straight from the English > Japanese translator and into the tweet.

Both "ご愁傷さまです" ("My condolences.") or the more polite "心よりお悔やみ申し上げます" (lit. "I give you condolences from my heart.") would have sufficed while sounding way more natural, and you don't need to know Japanese for either since both are a simple "How do you say sorry for your loss in japanese" google search away.

shit, there's one obvious reason staring everybody straight in the face. Dobson's an unpleasant, arrogant, selfish butthole to anyone - even his family members - if they don't cater to his every whim, and I'm guessing dobbro isn't keen on keeping the blue bear happy for any reason because dobson is a spoilt entitled brat and dobbro has had enough. Likely no person on earth knows the true depths of Dobson's laziness and malice better than Dobbro.

Bob tries to pretend that all women everywhere really like the artsy-fartsy Cannes Film Festival Indie-style shit and drooling male mayo ghouls from the wastelands only like mindless action movies with no 'redeeming qualities' or artsy galaxy brain hidden meanings.

Women are more inclined to watch men's films than men are inclined to watch women's films. This is because women's films are largely solipsistic, focusing on one woman's (or a group of women's) struggle and being made to garner maximum empathy from female viewers. The story of a woman vetting a romantic partner and having all sorts of ups and downs with him, AND dealing with others in her social circle is something of interest to many women, who seek ways of dealing with similar issues in their own lives. It's not something of interest to most men because social positioning and status seeking work differently for them. Bob himself has admitted that the only reason he read chick books and watched chick flicks as a lad was so that he could find a way to psychologically manipulate women into threesomes. So to hear him rail against "rape culture" because a male theater owner called major tentpole movies "male movies" is very rich indeed.

Hypothetical KinoBoberta would be into Bridget Jones and going off on how Twilight was on par with Shakespeare when it came to being a cultural phenomenon.
Would KinoBoberta be getting laid, though? Would genderswapped Bob still be an incel, or would there be men desperate enough for that?
Nah, CinematicRoberta would still be a vile monster and - Most importantly - still a shut in. No way to meet people.
