I do genuinely wonder his opinion on someone like Werner von Braun. Like he isn’t a complete fool and knows about Operation Paperclip, he’s referenced it before. I genuinely think Trump being elected has affected him, because he wasn’t this cruel or hateful of say, Republicans, in 2015. Actually, he does kinda remind me of Nick Land (and I hate to say this) to the extent he believes technology and “space” is all that matters even if millions die, because technology is inherently good. You have spilled your spaghetti a lot, but this post is good because this is absolutely how Bob's dichotomous thinking works. If he was forced to give it a lot of thought, he'd probably come up with some completely unsupported conspiracy theory about how von Braun "stole" his work from some unsung black Jewish lesbian scientist or something. I doubt he would say von Braun did nothing wrong, because that would suggest that good people can align with bad causes due to circumstance or being tricked, which would undermine his "All Trump supporters are evil and get the gas" mentality.

Anyway, there's no proof that he contracted COVID at the rally.

As for Bill Montgomery, he was 80. Another high risk case, who'd lived a pretty full life.
