I used to like Moviebob, but rewatching his old content makes me wonder why. He made a few good points and a few good videos, but most of his videos were as bad as they are now.

I think it's two things. One is that he was on my side of the debate so there was a blind spot there. The other is that Bob's sperging is only obvious when you've seen his true beliefs. It's one thing to not like Call of Duty, but it's another thing to say everybody who does like it is a racist conservative redneck that needs to be exterminated. Once that line is crossed, it taints the previous statements.

2) Midlife crisis, most guys would lease a sports car or start a garage band. He needs e-fame. The specific kind of efame that tiktok teenagers have.
3) He wants to be MovieBob. He is doing everything in his power to have the "perks" of his brother's lifestyle.
4) Do you remember being embarrased of your parents in middle school? Imagine the bullying his kids will receive by association.
5) His content is garbage but he wants to play pretend that he has a brand. A brand where he does *things*. Not a gaming channel, or a video channel or a music channel. He just exists and all that he puts out is golden. He is absolutely delusional.

I think this last point is what kils me. Why on Earth does he think he has shit that is worth sharing? He doesn't have a mental illness that forces him to overshare or lack in social graces.
