Funny how when you look into all those polls that continue to show Biden being ahead, you find that, without exception, they hilariously oversampled Democrats. And even despite all the number fudging, Biden's lead is continuing to shrink as the days go by. Bobby doesn't look beyond the big numbers at the beginning, so it's not a surprise he's getting all giddy over a Biden landslide.
All I'll say is, don't count those chickens too early, Bob.
The thing about satire is, in order for it to be effective, there needs to be truth to what it's satirizing. Homelander works as a neocon satire because that's really how they were: bomb the shit out of the third world to keep the gravy train rolling. Stormfront doesn't work as an alt-right satire because the show is (not very subtly) implying that the entire alt-right is going around shooting the darkies because they're all secretly neo-Nazis. As I mentioned before, when you consider the source of the vast majority of political violence over the last few years is coming from BLM, Antifa, and other leftist groups (oh sorry, they're ideas and not groups, thanks Biden), this attempt at satire falls flat. Look at the attempts in the past week to denigrate the Proud Boys as the new KKK while continuing to ignore who's been burning down Portland for months now.

I haven’t had the heart to look at this thread over the past month, Bob’s existence just being too fucking depressing. But then I saw a cow crossover pop up in my feed. I’ve wanted to OP a Richard Nikoley thread for years, but it’s a daunting “Where do I fucking start?” task of epic proportions. Nikoley is one of the ugliest, most fucktarded cows in e-drama history and I’d still root for him over Bob.

MovieBob basically has the same mentality as an extremely aggressive dog: if you aren't feeding him or prushing the fur on his ass, you're the enemy and must be destroyed. Ironic that he considers himself oh-so-advanced yet his thinking is so primitive. This dude is not ready for a starship and a robot body, he can't even handle Twitter and a camera.
What really gets me confused is that leftists like Bob keep insisting that "this is different than 2016" and the polling failure there won't happen now, but they don't really explain why or how. The polling doesn't seem to have changed at all in terms of methodology, Biden's numbers are nearly identical to where Hillary's were around this time and the sample size for democrats is always way higher than it should be. Is it just different because they want it to be?

I have a few thoughts on the subject.
First, there's always the possibility people lie on these polls. This is especially true today. Look at lefty Twitter. If Antifa/BLM kills an old man, nobody gives a shit; however, if you fucking dare try to defend yourself, you are arrested and pilloried as a monster. All it takes is one Leftist pollster who hears "Yeah, I'm voting Trump" to leak your number onto Twitter and have a mob come for you.
Second, they seriously massage the numbers no matter what. Anyone who takes a statistics class can tell you how misleading any poll can be, but this is something of a psychological tactic. The goal is to make Republicans feel increasingly isolated and, well, obsolete.
Third, with the pandemic on, this offers the Democrats a chance to push voting by mail and "ballot harvesting" (i.e., send a volunteer to a place full of people who cannot vote in person and collect their votes. Yes, I think it sounds Orwellian too.) Both of these methods have given the Democrats an iron grip on California and reduced the Republican presence to a regional party at best.
Fourth, it's a matter of ego for the leadership. Remember this little gem from 2016? They improve the polling results to make themselves feel better, the little people's opinions be damned.
Fifth, if Bob is any indication, the rank-and-file live in some sort of Dionysian fairyland where facts don't matter. In their minds, people aren't being turned off by the black bloc tactics of Antifa and BLM, they've got those deplorable obsoletes on the run!
That's my two cents, anyway.

I wish I could remember where I heard it (possibly a talk by James Burke?) but I remember someone once making the point that conspiracy theorists are capable of maintaining - at the same time - the two completely contradictory beliefs that everyone involved in the conspiracy is essentially omnipotent and omniscient enough to control these vast organizations to commit and hide these atrocities... while at the same time being so powerless and stupid that they can be undermined by a few ‘true believers’ who have seen the completely obvious evidence that these geniuses couldn’t realize would expose their plans... I think it’s something similar with Trump. They think that because he was in power at the time, any deaths could have potentially been stopped, and so any deaths that weren’t aren’t due to inability or systemic failures or simple ”time and circumstance”, but due to malfeasance and hatred.
