I just Googled searched this, and it appears that Robert Marks and The Escapist settled their lawsuit last August, rather than Marks dropping it.


They settled some five months after Pitts left.

I am wondering if Enthusiast Gaming just said "Look. Pitts is gone now. We don't want to fight for that idiot. Here's some money."

Some might call that a nuisance payout, but it also doesn't exactly vindicate Pitts if they won't even try and defend his virtue signaling.

He also believe he was a soldier in the console wars, that as a teenager playing games he was vital to the fight against censorship in the 90s, that if he shuts up then Gamergate will win, and that he's part of the reason James Gunn got hired back onto Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

I hope they're conditionally returning the rights to the Moviebob persona based on him behaving like an adult regarding the escapist. And I also hope that they post an innocuous "good luck to both candidates in this upcoming election season. We hope that Americans can unite behind their next president, whoever that may be" statement

He rather perish quietly than to let people see him at his lowest. I'm waiting the day his anger finally runs out, and he has nowhere to run. He is running on his own delusion of grandeur at this point.

He rarely tweeted on it anyways, which is weird to say considering it has 2534 tweets as of this writing. It never got the traction that I think he wanted of it and he couldn't get it verified either so why tweet on something that you can't get asspats from?
