I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm hoping his twitter rants, especially his "There are no bad tactics, only bad targets" line bites him in the ass.

I don't think Bob realizes that in doing this, Playtonic has alienated a good chunk of the people looking forward to Yooka-Laylee and as a result sales are gonna suffer. There's already a lot of backers requesting refunds, and while at this point it won't really affect development, fact is Playtonic has shown that it bows to the whim of the SJW crowd rather than their actual audience, aka the people funding their game.

So while it gained one sale in the form of Blob Chimpman, it's losing a lot more in the form of people who actually gave a damn about the game. Of course, Bob won't care about this since he thinks getting rid of a free bonus people were actually looking forward to on the basis that Jon has different political beliefs is a good thing. Because who cares what the actual audience wants? The only people that matter to Blobby are the unpleasable SJW crowd, and it seems Playtonic will be catering to them now.

Like many, I'm torn. I totally understand WHY the Yooka-Laylee people would not wish to associate with Jon-Tron. As a company, they have the right to do so, and I get why.

On the other hand, this will alienate a good few people, many of whom also loved Banjo-Kazooie and might boycott the game in protest.

Also, if all it takes for you to buy a game is someone you don't like getting dropped from that game, you are a lolcow.
