The fact that movie bob is surprised a corporation would still sell something with the Harry Potter brand speaks volumes to his credibility as a pop culture critic. As if he still had any.

The libtard pisses on you and then tells you it's raining. That's what's so infuriating about Bob and all his ilk who act this way, delivering "devastating" political hot takes all the time... they are showing how dumb they are by making dumb , bad faith arguments from out-of-context quote mining, assuming we, the audience, must be even dumber yet and won't notice, buying it all unquestioningly, and if we don't, can be convinced we "dreamed it all up", "Put words in my mouth" or are just "conspiracy theorists"
Which is really really funny, because it shows how ugly his inside is. Because some real fucking trainwrecks both physically and internally can get a date and a partner. And Bob just can't. So, no matter if you take the correct or the autistic reading, Bob still fails. His hatred of Shrek was telling when he said he hated the message of the 1st film with Fiona. Everyone in the world thought the message was looks don't matter its what's inside but Bobert read it as Ugly should stay with Ugly.
He knows he's ugly but thinks/thought he'd get a beautiful woman and as time goes by and he finds out that ain't ever happening he's becoming more bitter and like you said widening the definition of "woman".
Bob would have meltdown if he went to Universal and saw all the children and his fellow consoomers enjoying Butterbeer and waving their wands. How dare they enjoy something that is making his Twitter followers kill themselves? The fact that movie bob is surprised a corporation would still sell something with the Harry Potter brand speaks volumes to his credibility as a pop culture critic. Fact Check: False.Only if it suits his argument while playing dumb the whole time that he's doing it.
Like, if Trump had showed up soaking wet at a function and said "Sorry folks, but it was raining cats and dogs out there" he'd instantly claim "Trump's mentally ill, he thinks cats and dogs are falling from the sky on him!" , and then, a tweet or so later, would say "How dumb do you have to be to forget an umbrella? Told you the guy's too stupid to be President! , proving he KNOWS what an idiom is after all, but is gambling that you won't.
Ehhh... Enough cancelling can get the big money in Hollywood to shitcan people and redlight projects if enough wokeists REEEE loud enough.Eventually he will learn that at the end of the day, politics is not pop culture and the people who care about politics are the extreme minority. No amount of canceling on either side will destroy something if people actually like it. He’s not in reality, he’s far from it
I'm sure Bob would like to think the morally superior in the entertainment pitched a fit about Rowling's attitudes. It went a little closer to something like this:The fact that movie bob is surprised a corporation would still sell something with the Harry Potter brand speaks volumes to his credibility as a pop culture critic. As if he still had any.
So from a realist perspective, Newsom was very likely not going to be recalled. Although there's been resentment growing against the hair gel addict for years, the big thing that kicked off the recall effort was the heavy-handed coof restrictions, especially after the French Laundry incident where Newsom was seen having a large dinner party with zero social distancing or masks whatsoever. It was the blatant hypocrisy, coupled with how he's continued to drive California further into the ground, that spurred the recall election. The white man savior remains victorious over the Uncle Tom:

As much as I was hoping for the sake of my friends in Cali that Newsome would get the sack, I gotta agree with this. There are certainly Republican stronghold counties in California, but those are the tiny minority, Orange County is the best example, Newsome wouldn't have fun on the campaign trail there. Also a point that's been left out of this, we've all seen and heard and talked about the big CalExit that's been happening over the last year or so. If all the Republicans or people who are sick of Dem policies are leaving Cali for greener pastures, who's gonna be left to vote out Newsome? At the end of the day the Dems still have their strong voter base of brain dead students, tug-boat captains, junkies, photo copiers and long dead corpses to keep voting them in.So from a realist perspective, Newsom was very likely not going to be recalled. Despite this, he managed to avoid getting the boot due to three reasons, two of which are certain while the other is less so but certainly plausible. For the former, the first is Newsom laying off the coof restrictions a bit and opening the schools on time in the fall against the wishes of the teachers' unions (that wanted to continue collecting a paycheck from home), although now that he's safe, I expect them to come back in full force soon. The second reason is that California is still a deep blue shithole, so unless Dems ended up dissatisfied with him for some reason (like, say, the coof restrictions), he'd pretty much skate by without issue.
For the latter, there was undoubtedly massive voter fraud that occurred. California is pretty much set up to ensure one-party rule by providing plenty of ways to ensure Dems get tons more votes than they actually would have in a fair election, and I have no doubt they pulled out all the stops to keep him in. Look at the reports of Republicans being told they'd already voted in the recall election, or the millions of mail-in ballots that were sent out and could potentially be filled in by anybody. It's happened before, and it'll keep happening unless someone actually manages to overturn those laws. Meanwhile, California Dems are looking at "reforming" the recall laws to prevent something like this from happening again, because the people can't be trusted, obviously. Just remember, this is the "election fortification" the Dems want to take nationwide.
So no, this was not a MAGA failure. Note that the effort alone was enough to get Newsom running scared and backing down from keeping the whole state on lockdown. Note that even with all the likely fraud, 30% of the votes were still cast to throw him out. Note that dissatisfaction with the Dems is rising by the day nationwide as Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest can't keep a lid on the multiple crises continuing to unfold. As Larry Elder himself said, they may have lost the battle, but the war is far from over.
tl;dr: Bob sucks as a political pundit even harder than he does as a movie critic.
Pop culture and politics are inevitably going to mix together for everyone in this world we live in. For Bob, however, they're both one in the same as the consoomer meme correctly points out. For that reason, he just thinks that everyone will abandon Harry Potter like a politician who gets caught doing something grotesque or immoral. It's very delusional indeed and, ironically, fails to understand the difference between politics and pop culture. Pop culture is an escape and breeds better memories than politics and people aren't going to easily throw them away at the same speed as politicians and that draining and serious world they inhabit.Bob has this fantasy that everybody is going to abandon the Harry Potter fandom because JKR said such and such, but it ain't happening,
Hollywood can do that, but it doesn’t cancel the popularity. A good example is The Last Man standing which had such fan support that hollywood reversed the decision and brought it back. Even the Roseanne reboot was too popular to cancel, they just took Roseanne out in a failed attempt to keep it alive.Fact Check: False.
Wild Coyote dogs are not ferrying illegal immigrants and cartel shipments across the US-Mexico border.

to reluctantly quote Andrew Breitbart, politics is downstream from culture. Meaning most people's politics are more likely to be influenced by the cultural products they consume, if at all. For Bob and his fellow twitter schizos however, what they consoom must first be determined by their politics.Pop culture and politics are inevitably going to mix together for everyone in this world we live in. He doesn't read and didn't like the movies, so he doesn't understand the appeal and so assumes that it's a dead fad instead of an enduring franchise. Because if he doesn't care about it, no one else should. And if they do, it's yet another sign that he's better than most people.Bob has this fantasy that everybody is going to abandon the Harry Potter fandom because JKR said such and such, but it ain't happening,

Which is weird because he wants the characters to appear in a Justice League movie but I think that's just because he's autistic.
Yes, let’s not forget the “what hogwarts house are you in” and Harry Potter in general was the liberal political bible for years. If this weren't the case then the woke-ists wouldn't make such a concerted effort to take over various forms of media production and insert their politics into it.
Avengers wouldn't be as suitable as Harry Potter since that at least in some respect has some anti-statist themes in it, particularly with the winter soldier, hydra taking over SHIELD, and Civil War making people see Captain America's perspective of "big government/centralized authority is a fucking bad idea" which is antithetical to the current trend of leftist thought. Harry Potter at least sort of was similar in that there were characters representing the state we didn't like, and the wizard government does get taken over briefly by Voldemort at one stage. Along with obvious themes of racism, other social justice stuff (S.P.E.W. if you know, you know) but at the end of it all Harry grows up to become an Auror which for you non autistic 90's kids basically means a trained operative of the state, sort of a cross between a cop and Special Forces.Yes, let’s not forget the “what hogwarts house are you in” and Harry Potter in general was the liberal political bible for years. There was an attempt to make the avengers the new Harry Potter, but that failed almost immediately
I always thought Harry Potter worked so well for libs because the house system was basically just horoscopes only even more homosexual, and liberal white girls LOVE horoscopes,Avengers wouldn't be as suitable as Harry Potter since that at least in some respect has some anti-statist themes in it, particularly with the winter soldier, hydra taking over SHIELD, and Civil War making people see Captain America's perspective of "big government/centralized authority is a fucking bad idea" which is antithetical to the current trend of leftist thought. Also it's easier for people who act like perpetual children to relate to characters who are literal children.

Then you have a very clear black and white morality system, which is how they view the world. moral ambiguity is the scariest of all concepts to them
Sometimes, they don't even consoom. They just demand to be the arbiters of what entertainment should be for the rest of us (see also: Anita Sarkeesian). For Bob and his fellow twitter schizos however, what they consoom must first be determined by their politics.
