How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

I hope he doesn't take Metformin with alcohol.
I really don't think any beetus meds mix well with alcohol, tbh, but yeah, Metformin especially.

This makes me wonder just what meds he's on, if any at all.

Bob seems to think Ryu came out of nowhere. IIRC Ryu is at least partially based on Kykokushin karate founder Mas Oyama and visually has always had a lot of Kenshiro in the mix. Kenshiro has ALWAYS been a ridiculously jacked dude and Ryu was never far behind.

Oyama himself was a pretty strong dude and once notoriously killed a bull with his bare hands in an exhibition.

Male characters with more effeminate appearances are more often created to attract a female audience, not because it's the Japanese male's ideal concept of what he wants to be.

Yeah, hyper muscular anime and manga characters have always been a thing and really used to dominate the industry, and they're still common enough that people refer to series with them as "manime". They've just become less frequent due to anime moving towards more realistic body types over time. Funnily enough though, Kenshiro was partially inspired by Mad Max so in a roundabout way Ryu is inspired by the Japanese interpretation of western action heroes.

Honestly though, Bobs comment is such disgusting word salad that I can't even understand what he's trying to say, all I know is it's hilariously out of touch.

The word you are looking for is "wigger."
I was thinking "hipster" - "Wiggers" cheaply ape another ethnicity, while "Hipsters" do the same with economic standing.

"I'm better than you because I buy more expensive beer and drive a Lexus while you drive a Toyota"

BOB. Unless you wanna lose a foot or a retina, STOP FUCKING DRINKING.

I wonder if he's been told that by a physician and just internally brushed it off with "So what? I'll surely be able to get a Boston Dynamics robo-foot, this doctor is such a Trumpian idiot, acting like medicine is still in the obsolete pass, a wonder they didn't hand me a box of leeches, actually"

Also, I don't understand why Moviebob includes "this website is free" in his rebuttal. What the hell does mentioning Twitter having no sign-up fee in this discussion?

It's a common joke on Twitter, in response to something so absurd or insane that it rises to the level of entertaining. It's not generally used to comment on your own reframing of someone's tweet to strawman them, but this is Bob we're talking about.

TBH given his comics knowledge I'm mildly impressed he didn't say "Doctor Doom wearing blue".
There should totally be an MCU movie where Iron Man confronts Batman, just like he did here.....

Bob you idiot, that's not what's happening.

*exasperated sigh* I see you don't understand the concept of a crossover event.

That'd be a sweet photo if they'd just cleared that pile of junk.

Now, I might be overly optimistic about the habits of consoomers, but I do think the capeshit trend can't really last forever. The MCU has been going for over a decade now, and that's a lot of material to catch up on, made all the worse by Disney effectively insisting that you also need to watch all their shitty Disney+ shows as well. The barrier to entry is increasing with every production, and while dedicated consoomers will keep watching until the heat death of the universe, the average moviegoer might just decide to watch something that actually has an ending to it, especially if they never had much of an investment to begin with. A lot of the positive reactions to Phase 4 ring hollow to me, as though people are trying to convince themselves that they still care as much as they did when it was at its peak. Again, maybe I'm optimistic, but audiences are fickle, and what used to be all the rage can quickly become old news.
Youre right. Only few years ago, every casual person on the street could have a conversation with you about Marvel and the Avengers. These days, the conversations exist but in "fan-circles" and "geek-circles" all more known as "CONSOOMER-circles". But casuals are not really even aware to stuff like WandaVision and couldnt care less about Shang Chi. The PCWs are still pushing and over discussing all of this, but the general populace is more interested in Koreans pushing each other from glass bridges.
In short, this is the long and tried Star Wars way - from world cultural phenomena to specialized fandom. In 10 years it will be just weirdos.

Well, remove the shitty tshirt and ignore all the stupid shit they have posted online and they could pass for a normal couple (balding, overweight, shitty teeth but just another dude on the street). Bob is just too unphotogenic to pass for a normal human being.

Seven years... anyone knows how old is their daughter?

Because I think I got this shit sorta wrong, they didn't marry because "this is as good as it is going to get", but mostly likely the baby was what tied the knot.

And we all know these are the relationships that last a lifetime...

This is an apt reply to 99.9% of Bob's tweets about other people.

Damn the boi can dish it out but he just can't take it. "How dare you treat me in the manner I treat others!"

EDIT: Also, yeah I'm catching up. Bob vs Marxists was a fight that overloaded my paradox crumple zones and I've just recently recovered.

Yes, the daughter is 7. (Confirmed by Bob recently) So I'm guessing that it was definitely a case of "The boy was a close call" - Homer Simpson talking about how all his kids were born seemingly in wedlock - but Bart was the reason Homer and Marge got married.
