No idea. I'm rehashing an old sentiment here but it might be workable... for a villain. Show how broken they were from day 1. Establish that even as a child in a nurturing wholesome environment they were adversarial and unsympathetic.
The best part was Riri never really proved to be all that heroic later. In team books she was basically just shittier Iron Man, and in her solo books she just came across like a violent dumb ass. Dr Doom (at the time acting as a super hero, also using an Iron Man suit) wants to chat, Riri spends half their conversation confused and trying to plan an attack. She also unintentionally invaded and took over the country of Latveria. And iirc at one point she threatened to start blasting shield agents for some real flimsy nonsense.
It comes from the mind of a broken person who thinks that this is how likeable heroes act. That's just the genesis of Riri Williams. From what I remember she steals a suit of armor from Tony Stark to become Lionheart and grows more into a sociopathic cunt who rids her self of whatever gets in her way of being better than Tony Stark. That might be interesting if it wasn't that the comic always shows her doing this in a positive light and she's always the hero. I don't know if a gay man or a man who's never spent time with women outside of a gender studies class/protest wrote this but they have no idea what makes a woman so they just go and make Riri stronk.
