I'm both a Bond and Marvel films (MCU, Sony, Fox) fan I enjoy them for the simple fun entertainment they are but Blobby trying to drag everything down to "kids" level to make the MCU seem more "adult" is ridiculous.

True the Moore era in particular was silly and goofy at times and the Connery era starting with Goldfinger marketed toys to young boys. But Bond was never a kids film series it was an adult Male escapism fantasy series.

Hell I'll admit Bond's a bit of a Mary Sue with being the best, all women wanting him, and being an general know it all. But the character and actors are so damn charismatic it never matters because you either wanted to be Bond or fuck him.

Also while Craig films took a more grounded and realistic look at the character. The Connery, Lazenby, and Dalton eras all had brutality to them putting well out of the arena of being kids film. Even the Moore and Bronson eras with their lack of brutality had plenty of sexual innuendos to be clear it wasn't a kids series.

Blobby if you see this the MCU comes from Marvel Comics and Comics particularly the Code Approved Marvel Comics were made for kids except you like a kids product there's no shame in it many films and film series are made for kids and enjoyed by all ages. But quit this garbage of trying to make all things kids fair. It makes you look stupider than we already know you are and that's a feat.

The number of Bond movies Bob has watched from beginning to end can probably be counted on one hand, and his "knowledge" of Bond is mostly from the fact he gets parodied all the time in cartoons and everyone on his block had Goldeneye for the N64 growing up. That's why he thinks Bond is a kids franchise - he only ever got exposed to it through pop cultural osmosis, not the primary source.
