The one thing I immediately knew upon hearing the rough outline of the Ghostbusters remake was that this specific plot point was never, ever, ever going to reappear.

Almost a year later and Bob is still refusing to accept that Hillary ran a hilariously incompetent campaign. Jill Stein didn't convince Hillary not to campaign in Wisconsin, nor did she come up with the brilliant strategy of shoving asshole celebrities into the faces of a populace that was heartily sick of obscenely wealthy Hollywood idiots telling them what to do. The effect of Stein's candidacy on the final vote was marginal at best, and more likely too small to even be measurable.

Hillary's campaign did so many things wrong that scapegoating Jill Stein or Bernie Sanders is grade-A stupidity. But Bob knows best, as always. "Be gone."

Goddamn, I wish the Dems would hire him as a consultant in 2020.

If the Democrats hire him is a consultant for 2020, the entire party would manage to suffer a Whigs level of collapse where the party would be dissolved as a result. I also bet that Bob is the type of person that thinks voting for 3rd party like Libertarian or Green is White Privilege and that only Crazy Randroids or Anti-Vaxxers would vote for them.

Bob's reviews are all meandering screeds where he spends more time basing a movie's merits on who he thinks does or doesn't like it. He said Dunkirk was only okay, mostly because he thinks only dudebros watch Chris Nolan movies. I imagine he defends Queefbusters because only dudebros hate it.

HRC incompetent? Nonsense! Arizona, Georgia, Utah and Texas could totally have gone Blue and she was right to campaign in those states instead of those obsolete Midwestern states. Seriously. She got lucky and won the coin toss in Nevada, New Hampshire and Minnesota and only carried Virginia and Colorado because of defecting GOP suburbanites. Who ever the 2020 Dem ends up being I doubt they'll even manage that.

I guess we didn't lose anything with Hillary not getting elected. She would've also had that mascot position. Thank god we haven't devoted the last year to saying entire demographics should be violently murdered over not picking the same choice of mascot while implying a mascot would've brought us into an eternal utopia.
