On one hand Bob says that objectivity is bullshit as it pertains to criticism of media, but seems to be propagating some sort of objective morality (that itself has its base in moral relativism) based on his childishly Manichean worldview where "good guys" can perform the most immoral acts possible as long as it means stopping the "bad guys", who are ironically held to a higher standard. It's not based in principle, it's the equivalent of a child acting out their revenge fantasies against their perceived enemies because the world revolves around them and their epic quest to destroy whoever they deem to be evil.

He might've read those books for high school. If he ever mentions them though, he almost certainly believes they're about the other side and his blatant authoritarianism is meant to stop 1984 from happening IRL. He'd make the perfect Outer Party member.

He probably doesn't think Farenheit 451 is dystopian though. A world where people do nothing but sit on their asses and watch TV all day while the government censors problematic content sounds like one of his pipe dreams.
