How the fuck did Mr. Comic-Expert misspell the Spectre's name when it's right on the cover and called him one of the "good guys" when he's more of a chaotic neutral party? Like sure he's killed some horrible people but he'd totally turn around and try to eradicate a whole nation for being full of sinners. Is that what he considers "good"? Is he doing that thing where people always assume protagonists are who you should agree with 100%?

Because he likely never read any of The Spectre's comics and is just masquerading as a fan when he probably just listened to a video talking about DC comics in the background, I also think its kind of contradictory to one of the previous points he made where he ponders why men are attracted to revenge narratives when The Spectre is literally the spirit of vengeance, He probably thinks the Nick Cage Ghost Rider is loyal to the characters personality so, who the fuck knows. (Btw I am mentioning Ghost Rider because have a similar yet different role in their own comics universe)

I bet if someone told him that Jim's a cop, he'd turn around and try to frame Spectre as a metaphor for police brutality.

Spectre is, literally, the Wrath of God. Whatever he does, no matter how violent or over the top, is approved by the highest authority ever, God. He did the Ten Plagues of Egypt and Sodom and Gomorrah, for instance. He could be written as a fascists wet dream. Step out of line, have the wrong thought, get annihilated. They really ramped up his whole psychotic angle fairly recently, though, (I haven't read the Golden or Silver age stuff, mind) as well as introduced his merciful counterpart, Radiant, but I think she only showed up in Final Crisis.

Thing is, Bob is a dogmatic virtue signaling dude who thinks he has an objective view on morality like the "fascists" he opposes so he probably doesn't understand that, The Spectre is literally the manifestation of divine law encouraging to carry his vengeance on people, In Jim's case he grew increasingly more and more dogmatic and pessimistic of people.

I'm still laughing at Lindsey pretending that women don't like revenge stories. The uptight-bitch-getting-humiliated-in-front-of-everyone is as ubiquitous as the dude murdertown variety.

For film buffs you want to start asking if they've ever seen a film.

Women love the "mudertown" variety too if you have a good enough looking guy doing it.

I just like how people who have literally been shrieking on Twitter for over a year about their vengeful jerk-fancies over what awful things should happen to Trump, Trump admin officials, and Trump voters are now pretending they're too evolved and moral to indulge in that sort of thing.

Come on, that's not "revenge", it's morally justified. Are you next going to tell me that they're "human" and I'M the psycho for wanting to rip out their skulls with my bare hands and use them as cups? That's as silly as saying non-Elites "feel" things.

Happy Thanksgiving, kiwis. Just know that we can't be happier than Bob when he's decimating his holiday dinner.

"If only he could kill Republicans!"

The Spectre is the definition of chaos. If this fatso believes we would root for him. Then he need to read more comics. He's not good, nor evil. He only acts when God tells him to do so, now matter how devastating the act is.
How the shit did Bob miss this crucial detail?

Lindsay studied in a film school for her to spit this nonsense. She really should give a hard look on how many revenge stories are loved by both men, and women.

Most popular movies on the Internet as chosen by the massively autistic users of imdb.

  1. The Shawshank Redemption (1994) 9.2
  2. The Godfather (1972) 9.2
  3. The Godfather: Part II (1974) 9.0
  4. The Dark Knight (2008) 9.0
  5. 12 Angry Men (1957) 8.9
  6. Schindler's List (1993) 8.9
  7. Pulp Fiction (1994) 8.9
  8. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) 8.9
  9. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) 8.8
  10. Fight Club (1999) 8.8

Out of these movies, every one of them has a strong revenge element other than, arguably, 5 and 6. You can break these down by whether men or women like them too on imdb, because they keep autistic statistics like this, but I think you'll find all these movies, except possibly Fight Club, are beloved by both genders. I'm pretty sure there are female Fight Club fans, too, but it's a pretty male-directed film.

A bit off topic but The Spectre embodies the will of god, but he is a different entity that can act on its own (due to retcons and such), In the end he just needs a spirit in order to carry out his vengeance (or gods to an extent) but he too gets punished by The Presence(god) in the comics, its a bit convoluted I guess.

If @Sexy Times Hitler is conscious later he should check bob & his bro's twitter for pics of their thanksgiving.

Assuming the board can handle :autism: of that magnitude.

Well, cool to know looking like a jackass runs through his ancestry.

I'd say this is what happens when a failure and his put-upon brother cook a turkey.

So, this is just the pre-game lunch, right?

Two turkeys. Of course they need two turkeys.

I'm thankful that this tub of fat shit is not related to my family, since no one in my family would tolerate his bullshit.
Reading between the lines in Brick by Brick, neither does his (the brother notwithstanding).

King Arthur is not English oh-wise-critic.

Why is he proud of having been the descendant of a colonialist for the longest amount of time possible? Bob's occasional has these bouts of something like patriotism and I don't know why considering how often he flies into anger whenever someone else does.
