The Twitchy guys made a fantastic point: that Bob and guys like him are actually HURTING their cause and encouraging people to vote Trump, because they see how deranged Trump's opposition is. If Bobbo was smart, he'd can the fascist talk and hunker down, trying to find some tactic to win Rednecks and Republicans over to his side. Perhaps by appealing to their sense of decency. (Look at these small, big-eyed children who want to flee from their violent home countries! What kind of heartless person would deny these kids the chance to live in peace and safety?!)

But Bob isn't smart enough for that. He can't tamp down his visceral hatred for his enemies enough to employ indirect tactics against them. He has to go right for the throat and display his contempt for them openly. This is how you know he doesn't give a shit about any of his pet causes; if he did, he'd be willing to use any tactics, even appeals and shows of friendship to a hated enemy, to make sure his side won. He'd be willing to smile at an enemy and lie through his teeth, but Bob can't do that. His own bluff arrogance and shows of superiority are like a drug he has to consume at regular intervals. Bob NEEDS to be a bully and he is a bully, through and through. All of his talk about being a champion for the Superior Future is just a cheap moral framework he crafted to justify his brutish, bullying behavior (and to make him look good to bystanders and supporters.)

We should be grateful that Bob is the way he is. We'll know that he'll never be effective. Bob's only victories come from the outrage and anger he generates in the hearts of the non-psychotic.

I live in a swing state, but in a red county, and we have some good jams and jellies. Not sure about other states though, but look hard enough, and you could find some.

Given Bob's abrasive nature, I doubt he is going to at least have the self-control to stop fighting them on twitter leading those against him to continue the assault. I honestly don't hope he goes into the general workforce as if I had to work with the likes of Bob, I probably would get an ulcer trying to prevent myself from beating him half to death with a blunt object.
