They didn't have a written language, Bobby. Their "apocalyptic" ignorance is the reason why you don't know all about them and their illustrious history of accomplishing fuck all.
Mexico, Central and South America got injuns who could build shit and record their deeds. There was nothing superior about our shortbus natives. The very thing you advocate to happen to anyone who votes GOP happened to them. According to your philosophy, they deserved it.
Well, to be fair, the northern american tribes didn't really have much to "write" on (aside petroglyphs/cave walls/totem poles/etc), and as they were for the most part nomadic hunter-gatherers, they'd long ago either forgotten that they could write shit down before their ancestors crossed the bering land bridge or whatever, or it was never written down to begin with because nobody thought of it. A nomadic lifestyle tends to leave available few options for writing shit down anyways that wouldn't break down in a few years, not to mention the tribe would have other priorities, such as survival. Instead of writing shit down they relied on oral tradition and stories around the campfire, which as anyone who knows anything about that at all knows it's one huge game of telephone, and we're not sure which part is legit and which part is either made up completely, or so badly distorted from the original that the original got lost in the shuffle. In Central and South America it was a bit of a different story since those tribes (Aztecs, Mayans,Inca, etc) had agriculture due to superior climate and far more permanent settlements, leading to a huge empire and the means to write shit down, by carving it into stone and whatnot.
Bob the Stupid would like you to believe that something existed among the Northern Tribes but that the big bad whitey burned it all down or made it disappear or whatever. But what Bob doesn't realize is that some Tribal Traditions are fucking secret, and they'll never ever tell anyone, certainly not outsiders. I mean, we're talking about beliefs where, if someone found out what someone's spirit guide was, they'd be able to identify that spirit guide and a shaman could commit spiritual hacking/hijacking of the person through this knowledge, somehow. And they STILL don't like it for pictures to be taken at their ceremonies such as legit native funerals, for reasons I don't understand because people are invited to attend this event and see it for themselves, and the tribes sure as shit didn't have cameras back in the day to prohibit in the first place. I mean, maybe some latter-day Shaman post-introduction-of-the-camera had a "vision" about it, but whatever.
So no, the Lord of Lynn cannot know all the knowledge and history of the North American Tribes. Even if he wanted to.
