See, this kind of shit makes me thing Robert is being deliberarly obtuse just to get a rise out of people, because it is the type of argument that when you try to counter, one can smugly say "well, I Know that, but I didn't mean ALL homeless people

"
Okay, first, the big homeless crisis the USA have right now are people being priced out of their homes like what is happening in LA add that to a rampant opioid addiction infestation and you get the shit show that is Los Angeles now.
Some sheriffs from "bum-fuck-nowhere" wheeling out some junkies to San Francisco is just as a feasible explanation as it is the railroad vagabonds Robert just gave in mockery.
The unconfortable truth is that the laxed approach to drug abuse and homelessness that big liberal cities have, like Los Angles and New york, does create an environment that allows the proliferation of homeless people, be them local or getting from hitchhiking and numerous other ways, being homeless doesn't mean you don't have the means locomotion.
Add that to the distrust of homeless people of government housing and shelters, that often are not good environments due to violence in shelters and some housing programs asking for drug inspections from the homeless part, then you have a persisting problem, because the problem isn't just the lack of homes and shelter, or even job availability.
And California burned money trying to solve this issue, because the idea that a lot of these liberal minded sophistries have is that as long as you throw money at the problem, it will solve itself.
Except shit doesn't work, and the solution to th homeless issue in LA for example ain't a pretty one, because acctually enforcing the law and getting people out of the streets and environments that proliferate drug abuse means the use of force, and then have those unconfortable videos of people having their tents and shit taken away.
And so you have this situation created from this culture that people just don't can't handle being unconfortable, seems like it is just easier to ignore tents or some meth zombie pissing in the side walk, and by voting a certain party and saying the right things, makes you a good person and somebody else will have to handle it.
A culture that Robert endorses and love it, because it requires no action for virtuous validation, just words on social media.
