What's so Funny About Truth, Justice and The American Way?

Honestly, its such a retarded move, meant to appeal to the hypothetical market of non-US (and self hating US citizens) who like the character, but are apparently so apocalyptically bent by a character not holding the values of their nation in complete disdain.

That being said, I don't know anyone who likes modern Capeshit. I literally think its a market sustained by force of habit at this point. And I think even that is atrophying horribly.

I was talking with one of my friends the other day, who use to really be into comics and was always practicing art so he could one day break in to the industry. He gave up to just paint, and said something to the effect that the industry was full of retards and he'd rather burn all his art than participate in it.
It was honestly kind of depressing to see a guy have his old dream just completely broken.

I liked it but I didn't understand why they called the squinting Irishman a Jap.

(OK, the trailer didn't call him a Jap; they saved it for use in the serial itself - repeatedly. I did actually watch this serial recently. Was OK for a serial, the sort of thing that holds your attention enough and you can casually make wisecracks and running gags at. Also, it was kind of neat to see where some of the iconic elements of the Batman mythos originally came from. The backdrop of the Japanese Internment was striking, especially with how even the narrator was praising it. So, perhaps ideal for someone who wants to MST3K something but has a bent for dark humor.)

What I'm trying to say is I'll probably watch Batman and Robin (the 1949 serial) before I watch the new movie.
I’ll take that as a dislike. 😏

To continue my WW2 superhero theme, I remember seeing Superman committing acts of terror and mass destruction in Japanese cities in WW2 era cartoons. Supes can be an excellent window into someone's mind, laying bare their dream of what the best of America is.
You bring up an excellent point. Superheroes can be a window into each individual’s psyche and present their idea of what they think the world should be like.

I mean, Wonder Woman was created by a guy who had a BDSM fetish and believed feminism would save the world.

Only if you don't got a "Meh" category. I mean, "We're not so different." / "I'm vengeance." / Incomprehensible angry animal sounds. I wasn't expecting Mayhem of the Music Meister: The Movie! but it looks so... safe. All made of ticky tacky and they all look just the same.

I didn't even think of Wonder Woman, but you're right, yeah. Hold on, I need to write a pretentious paper called "Superheroes: Secondhand Doppelgangers and Eidolons of the Modern Age".

Tell him to make indie comics or submit work to Arkhaven. There are ways he can fulfill his dream of making comics without lashing himself to the mast of the sinking ship known as mainstream comics.

Superman has been as quintessentially American as apple pie and baseball. Turning him into a globalist bugman only indicates that the people who run DC are now globalist bugmen. It also indicates that they've completely lost faith in America, or else no longer view it as an institution they can subvert and puppet to further their own interests. I have no interest in reading comics about Clownworld Superman forcing Pakistanis to accept LGBTBBQX values while he jerks himself off at his gay son's wedding. And I guarantee that no one else will have an interest in reading that shit either.

These kind of tweets always make me chuckle with Bob. It's like watching a fat kid get dunked on for calling others fat and being like "OH shit, nigga... I've... been found out..."

As is usually the case, Bob's fans are even crazier than he is. What sort of demented brain looks at Bob and considers him to be, of all things, joyful?!?!

Well, looking at his profile... he only retweets Bob or pony/furry sex shit. I.E:

We could just have a thread for his fans, tbh. Everytime I check one out it's hilarious.

I saw the trailer, I gotta say, I’m not really interested by the looks of the film. But until I see it, I’ll reserve my final judgment.

What did you guys think of the trailer?

Given I'm one of the few people in this thread who still digs some of what Marvel, or DC does unironically. I'm really interested in it. Matt Reeves is already one of my favorite directors, thanks to the rebooted Planet of the Apes trilogy he helped helm. And some of the shots on the trailer are really gorgeous along with the detective story that is leading to an interesting direction.

I'm definitely checking it out. But I'm honestly not surprised that our fat motherfucker hates it. At this rate, he should just stop dancing around it, and flat out say it. He fucking hates Batman and everything he represents. He doesn't want anything 'good' from that character. He just wants him to have a similar feel to the MCU.

I would be on board with ridiculing some of these fans. They are simply a reflection that stupidity can unite under one wing. In this case, Diabeto's cause.

One Bobert every city is broken up ethnically/racial either due to people wanting to be around their own people with their own cultural background or due to economics. My city is racially diverse but rich whites live in the suburbs and the rest is neighborhoods broken down to black neighborhoods, poor whites, woke white hipsters neighborhoods who get their "diversity" from college educated immigrants and the Alphabet Community, then there are few ethnic communities like the Italians Neighborhood and Jewish area. So claiming because you live in a diverse city means you know blacks is horseshit you could go your whole life and never have a meaningful relationship with a black person if white and in Boston.

Oh Two Blobby that also sounds pretty racist like "I have a black friend" kind of racist. Oh and speaking of black friends why aren't any ever in your or your brothers social media pics? Oh because you have none.

The sad truth is that in today's job market, you often have to change jobs to a new company if you want that big raise. The fact that Chris has been with the same company suggest they either compensate him well, or that he can't or doesn't try to find something better. Given his constant e-begging I have my suspicions.
He may not even understand that he could leave, or is too lazy to do so. Unless he's like Bob and believes that being loyal to a company means they'll be loyal to him.

People who don't experience joy. Hell, Bob has admitted many times he's a miserable person and engages in nostalgia because it brings back the times he was last happy. Which is, of course, the fault of the MAGA CHUDs, because Bob's happiness is not his responsibility.

EPISODE SIXTEEN: "Holiday Show!"

In this Crimbo episode, Bob decides to make a shopping guide for all the clueless adults that don't know which video games to get for their crotch goblins. Obviously, expect non-stop Nintendo shilling from him.

I recommend. This is bob presenting himself at his most polite and amicable, he's gotta keep it PG for the concerned adults even though he manages to sneak a picture of some cleavage in there. There's plenty more fuck ups on bob's and I believe you guys should not miss any of it.

Bob's Tips and Tricks to video game shopping

PART 1: MOVIE GAMES
-video games based on movies are usually TRASH
-your son wants PIXAR'S CARS: THE VIDEO GAME?
-get him MARIO KART instead.
-your daughter wants the pirate game with JACK SPARROW in it?
-get her CAPCOM"S ZACK & WIKI: QUEST FOR THE BARBAROS' TREASURE.

PART 2: CONTENT
-Bob gives and explanation for the ESRB ratings
-These ratings usually make sense at a first glance.
-T for teens usually means content similarly within the vein of HARRY POTTER movies.
-Overall regarding an average video game, make sure your kid can read words and comprehend basic math
-4:03 bob shows some titties

PART 3: EDUCATION GAMES
-should you get your son/daughter/niece/nephew/grandchild/friend's kid education games instead?
-One, don't let Major Media fool you, games are not mindless distractions that rot brains
-Two, most "education games" are terrible and a waste of money
-6:18 "In Fact, ALL VIDEO GAMES ARE EDUCATIONAL!"~MovieBob, Nintendo Propagandist
-Most video games require and develop problem solving
-7:00 Take for example, POKEMON
-Then Bob gives the most pretentious explanation of the POKEMON games as math I've ever seen.
-7:45 If that explanation didn't convince you POKEMON was educational, how about GTA IV?
-GTA IV, despite Bob believing it to be utterly reprehensible, is still in his own words, an educational game as well
-GTA IV alone requires critical thinking, problem solving, inventory management, economics, and map-reading.

PART 4: Last Thoughts
-Adults, you need to quit worrying if a game is "good for kids" because all games can be good for kids, in moderation of course, just like anything else.
-Just a little bit of research and some common sense, and you're all set.
-and if you're still not sure, ask a gamer, were here to help.
-Happy Holidays
