-Maybe due to competition with other big releases?
-Maybe the game is actually crap?
-Idk Bob doesn't have a PS3 so all he can do is speculate.
-But bob has finally come up with an answer: LBP was too niche and had no audience.
PART 3
-Once upon a time, game consoles had variety and didn't specialize in any one genre.
-This variety stops at the distinction of Western-only & Japanese-only games and their respective, specific audiences.
-For example the XBOX 360 sold like shit in Japan
-Probably because the 360 is a FPS machine and Japanese don't play FPS games
-5:15 MovieBob suggests Nintendo to make a Mario Paintball game
PART 4
-Bob declares that the 7th generation of video game consoles have become too specialized for their own good.
-Each one caters to a specific audience that has no real overlap between them
-And the small minority of mechanically diverse games like LBP that aren't multi-platform are screwed in that regard.
-Nintendo couldn't do the online play and HD textures
-Sony doesn't have the built-in audience to play and sustain this kind of online game
-And Microsoft would've just called the game GAY
PART 5
-This specialization of consoles so far has been making bank
-and therefore wont stop for the foreseeable future
-DS so far is the only platform with a diverse library and audience
Conclusion
-Bob for some reason makes an open letter for game developers and pleads not to give up on TRUE GAMERS™
-TRUE GAMERS™ are loyal and will still buy games
-TRUE GAMERS™ are better for the health of the industry so please game devs please!
-Don't leave us in the dust all just to chase that elusive and huge casual audience!
and then bob concludes his video with one last jizz fest from bob talking about CAPCOM VS TATSUNOKO, this is like the third time he's talked about his game.
